Wow so much hate in this thread.

Id say people are just jealous.

I am a computer enthusiast, and if i had the money like xtwells did, i would use it. As simple as that.

Looks like several people are looking for a week off vacation.

Heres a little more info on warranty:

Limited Warranty. Most often does not include labor after 6 months.
Does not protect against surge protection
Does not protect against fried hardware
Does not protect against "wear and tear" (Pretty much the big loophole)
Does not cover shipping and handling (both ways)
Does not protect against idiots

Oh, and if you overclock, goodbye to any warranty on any CPU RAM and mobo which i suspect you're going to be doing if you need a water cooling system.
Extended warranties for systems over $1500 is a must these days.

Very good points Hemsky..

I don't really like to OC anyway, because especially if I have an E6600 to begin with, that's enough performance to keep me happy + not worth the extra hassle for the ability to say "oo I got 200 more 3dmarks than you"

But the core 2 duo's are way too tempting not to overclock.
and it WILL get you.
I ran 3ghz at stock cooling and even undervolted.

I know ;(

but you know what.. if I don't spend jack on water cooling, then I can get 2x8800 gtx instead.. and that would perform a lot better than 1x8800 gtx and 4ghz cpu ya think?

Agreed. OCing is like gambling. And you dont want to do that with one expensive CPU.
