Hey all, I'm trying to maintain a simple overclock until I get better cooling on my 2.8Eghz prescott cpu.
I have easily managed to get to 3.2ghz with timings of 3-4-4-8, which is on pc3200 kingston valueram @ 2.7v from 2.6v.
Also, If i keep the volts @ 2.7 I can also achieve 2.5-3-3-7 @ 3.0ghz
my question is, would I get overall better gaming performance, keeping it @ 3.2ghz w/ 3-4-4-8 timings or @ 3.0ghz with 2.5-3-3-7timings?
Surprisingly @ stock speeds of 2.8ghz I was able to tighten my ram to 2-3-3-6! great for valueram I thought, but after smoothly running aquamark 03, it locked up
