paid 2.85 this morning on the way to work.

this is for 87

But why are you driving all 30 miles, RTD-Denver is the greatest public transportation system in the history of ever!!! Actually I do think RTD is pretty good, at least it is good in certain areas, in some you pretty much have to go south to go north on a bus.

Currently I am living in boulder and working/going to school in boulder.

Next month I am moving to Erie, and the bus system from Boulder to Erie isn't nearly as straight-forward, so I am going to be making the 15 mile drive constantly.

Where are you commuting your 30 miles to, Loveland/Longmont or Denver?

93 pence per litre here thats $9 per gallon and it rises and lowers big deal. We have no viable alternative same as you unless you live in london. i cannot get to my place of work using public transport for the time i am due to start.

i would love prices like yours but that aint going to happen

and for those who say move closer? what 100 mile round trip means move to a ****** hole i dont think so. 100 mile round trip = 1.30 hours total

to use public transport would cost me £600 per month driving = £200 you do the maths.

and before you say it NO the grass aint greener over here we just pay more for stuff you take for granted

hahahah its alive!!!!!

anyway gas is now $3.15 a gallon in boulder. i filled my camry on friday when it was still $2.99 a gallon and it cost me $53.00 bucks. :| on one TANK!!!! yes i was almost dry and filled it to the rim because i knew by monday it would be over 3 bucks.

however in the town I live in a new gas station just opened with 3 E85 pumps and that is selling for $2.35 a gallon.

wish i had a flex fuel car.

It's true, unless you need to drive 5+ miles to work there's no reason not to bike in Boulder. Great weather, lots of bike paths, and almost every road has a bike lane. I ride 20 minutes each way to work.

We're in for a rude awakening if there is any sort of major hurricane to hit the Gulf this season.

Look into the crystal ball ATOT; can you see $4.00+ now?
But, ExxonMobile CEO thanks you kindly 😛

I am glad that you can. I can not.

You can't move closer to work?

You can't carpool?

You can't ride a motorcycle, or buy a more fuel-efficient car?

Or, more likely, you'd prefer to continue doing as you always do, and complain about the rising prices, than do something about it.
