Stop driving SUVs and Hummers.

Why?

They can afford any gas price.

There is no shortage of fuel or oil, if that was what you were thinking.

Inventories are highest in over five years.

See any stations run out lately?

Well, if you are complaining about gas price, then you probably drive something that get 12-14mpg. Too damn bad. I don't feel a bit sorry for them. Laugh at the stupid 4 bangers now.

Screw a month. The increase over the past 2 weeks has been bad enough.

$3.68 the other day 🙁

😎 Looks like eastern Long Island will beat California to $5

I don't get it either.
The other week it was like $3.20-3.30ish.

What happened, didn't oil prices go down?

walk.

no can do, 30 miles one way from home to work.

Then bike 🙂

Cheers,
Aquaman

no thanks highway 52 is a 2 lane road with a speed limit of 65 through most of it, no shoulder and heavy traffic mostly trucks. a very dangerous road to peddle a bicycle on, besides its dark when i leave either direction which adds to the risk of getting spattered.

If i lived 10 miles closer you bet, there are bike paths everwhere for local jaunts.

Yep, because the fact that Aniak, AK is extremely remote with no road access (and all the gas has to be flown in) has no bearing on the cost of gas there.

I paid $1.96 earlier this year and today I filled up for $2.47.

Fvcking sucks but what can I do?

Supposedly stop buying gas.

The alternative would be to implement price controls that would lead to overconsumption and shortages. Is that what you want, Dave?

Still waiting on legit proof of this "Drive for Five" that doesn't exist solely in your wildly delusional brain.

Why bother bitching? No body seems to be doing anything about it, so just shut up and don't forget the lube next trip to the gas station.
