2x GTX560 SLI or a GTX570?

I got my gaming rig almost ready but I don't know which one to choose. So 2x GTX 560 Sli or just a single GTX 570?

Dual GTX 560 Ti's own a 580 in almost all scenarios... I'd go for the 560s

Dual 560 Ti will be the better performer, but single 570 has an upgrade path, is cheaper and will run cooler with lower power draw.

If you're even considering dual 560 tis, why not just go for a 580? Pricing isn't that difference and the 580 is awesome.

A dual 560 Ti setup is faster than a GTX 580, and completely smokes the 570. From these two options, I would go for the 2x 560 Ti. I went with dual 470s over a year ago (470 is a tad slower than 560 Ti) and I'm still rocking everything maxed out at 1920x1080 with ungodly amounts of AA and AF.

However, why not get a 580? It's not as fast as dual 560 Ti but you get the advantages of a single card (upgrade path, SLI issues go away (not that they're particularly bad), bragging rights)

Oh, whoops! In that case, OP, what's your mobo? Does it even support SLI? How about PSU? In fact, let's see your specs in general so we know what to recommend...we don't want you bottlenecked by the CPU or something.

It's two Gainward GTX 560's. Don't know if they're Ti's. Here's the picture of the rig in sale.

Guys I just asked them and it's indeed two GTX 560 Ti's. If they're more powerful than a 570 then I'll get those instead.

SLI gtx 560 ti is a LOT faster than a single gtx 570. If it's the same price with all else equal then the sli rig is a no-brainer imho.

I would rather have 1 580 over 2 560ti's.

to each their own. I firmly believe if you shut off fraps, the 580 will "seem" faster

Even1 gtx 560 (non ti) is enough for 1920x1080. 2 would be wasted money in my opinion.

Another option is to get two 460 1gb cards. Around the same performance as a 580 but for half the price.
