Screw the 3D, I just want to see true 120Hz IPS...
Wow. When is this being released in the states? I presume its actually an IPS panel rebranded, I need this now![]()
Ditto. Passive 3D is 60Hz, with a polarizer to direct each line to the opposite eye. In essence rather than going to 120Hz they cut the vertical resolution in half, allowing them to maintain 60Hz. So I seriously doubt this display can accept 120Hz, nor can the panel actually operate at 120Hz.
It's unfortunately not being sold at all (edit: anymore). By anyone, as far as we can tell. They stopped manufacturing this specific version when March rolled around.
3D aside, I basically have a true ~120hz, IPS, 1440p monitor.
What panel do you currently use?
I currently use a Catleap Q270 monitor, with a serial number of Q270SE2B1LP0350. Bought off of ebay. Any one of these, but these are all "2C" panels now; that is, the electronics are not capable of 66+hz. The panels themselves are.
