OK, so after 3 hours last night I was ready to RMA my replacement motherboard (p8P67 Delexe) for my defective Asrock extreme4(sata bug). After all that time, it was one setting keeping me from booting. I had to change the sata controller from AHCI to IDE, and bam, I am now up. Why is that the default ? I got nothing but errors, trying a fresh win7 install, or a repair XP install ???
Anyway, I was stuck at 4.4 before, and now I am up to 4.6, so motherboards DO make a difference in OC's. I might even be able to go higher !
