Wow cheap! I paid more for that for a few sticks of 128 PC133 memory a couple of months ago! But still PC100. Probably some very old 10ns stuff too. If so, it's definately not worth it, just cough up the extra to get faster and higher quality memory.
I've found BX chipsets can handle any RAM I've used. Is this just a question of it not being 'officially' listed as approved, or does registered RAM really require this level of specificity?
This wont work in BX chipsets... plain and simple.
Works fine in my VIA and, while it "worked" in my BP6 (R.I.P.) it only registered as 128MBs
The incompatibility of the MX300 or Aureal cards with the A7V is not true. Some of them may not work with other hardware, and certain configurations. Mine works just fine. Just posting to make the wary consumer aware that they DO infact work together.
A7V 1004C
Duron 700@900
MX300
ATI Radeon 32DDR
ATI AIW
Intel Pro/100 NIC

Lemme tell you guys to NOT buy this ram, it's terrible quality.
The computer store i work for has ordered this stuff before for system builds, and
it didn't work with 3/4th of the systems, and even when it did, it had failed a couple
times after a couple of weeks. SyncMAX ram is plain and simple junk, i wouldn't pay $100 for
this ram! just a helpful warning
