Which of these pics would you print and bring with you?

Yeah keep us posted, I'd fight it. I got an $80 ticket while in college because supposedly my bumper was too close to the boundary of the firelane. I took pictures, pointed out that the dumb cop got the date wrong by 10 months in the future (technically, the ticket says I was being fined for something I've yet to do). Since it was a small town, I met up with this lady after waiting 2 hours for her. When I came in, she spent about 15 minutes talking to this lady about her cats before even speaking with me. She looked at my case and said "I'll get back to you in 2 weeks." After about 5 weeks, I called her up and asked what's the status of my case. That same day, she sent out a letter which said she ruled in favor of the cop/metermaid/meterman. If I wanted to contest it, I'd have to take it up with the county judge and pay a $25 fee. That's democracy for ya.

White is loading and unloading only, even on Sundays. In this case, it's loading/unloading because it's in front of a handicap/medical clinic..... Those are 15 minute limits, sorry, I think you are out of luck.

The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white zone.

Get a lawyer or pay it. Paying will be cheaper most likly so only if you're trying to prove a point or it's a pointable offense, which i doubt. You won't win on your own. First off Cops just don't write tickets willy nilly he knew you were in violation and will testify as such. Judge, probably old, has crippled friends being old like that.. probably witnessed himself someone in a hurry parking hadicaped, will have ZERO patience for some young buck who just could'nt walk the extra 20 ft from a non-hadicapped spot.

from the local police station web site (in CA):

What does a white curb mean?

A white curb is for loading or unloading passengers in an expeditious time frame. The vehicle should not be left unattended. The unloading and loading time frame is 3 minutes.

So you can stop, but only for 3 mins....

Meh. You should feel lucky. I usually key peoples cars who park in handicapped zones without a tag.

I saw a guy at safeway get clocked by some guy who had to walk his grandpa from out in the lot because the worthless fvck took the last handicapped spot.

Ticket seeme cheap by comparison.
