Use your common sense. Age difference of 11 years is much different than say, 6 years. I'd say 5 or 6 years age diff is the max, but I've seen really young women go out with the older, rich guys. I guess it just depends. If it works out for you, go for it.
The age thing is not creepy at all, unless wherever you guys meet up she has 4 of her friends, all 19, hanging out. Then they might look at you weird.
Obviously, you can't go drinking with her, so just talk to her, get to know her, whatever you need to do, and then find out where all the "hotspots" are, where the drinking holes are. She's 19, she has to know something about that.

I'm 27 and I'm 6 years older than my girlfriend. The only thing weird is that she's more mature than I am. 😀

Actually, I've never been too proud or cool to say that i'm a total dork when it comes to women. Re-read my YAGT posts (and this is NOT a yagt post, I will *never* date a 19 year old just because I spend a lot of time drinking and.. well.. it wouldn't work out), I'm not bragging - I'm admitting how pathetic and clueless I am when it comes to dating. And haven't had a serious relationship in over a year - could I be less braggy than that?
Anyways, I'm going ahead and meeting her tonight. I think we'll just see a movie or have pizza - she's underage so, unless she has fake-id, i don't see how we're going to get into any bars (though it is weird that she suggested that). Any last advice?

Common theory here but the friend who told me to not go through with is a girl as well.. And my males friends have never, ever been jealous of me - the girls they hook up with make me the jealous one..

I don't get that, my buddy is a girl as well - it's not a male friend of mine who wishes he could get with a 19 year old
-I don't want to get with a 19 year old- I just need more friends around here.. 99% of my new neighborhood is over 65... It SUCKS

As a man you're allowed to date younger women, in fact you're expected to do so. A woman's desireability falls off drastically after she's 25 or so. But a man whose 40 is as wanted by women as a man whose 20, or perhaps even more so since he's well settled in life. Those are the facts, my friend.
