the dancers were allegedly involved in a variety of criminal activities, including cocaine peddling, prostitution, lewdness, exposure of sexual organs, and the improper solicitation of alcohol

isn't that the point in stripping?

In some states you cant expose your vaginal area/manhood depending on your sex...

In some the areolas have to be covered and you can't lap dance.

I used to hang out a lot in clubs/bars...usually you end up in some strip club at 3-4am and continue the fun (yes guys and girls).
Are you saying that you've paid for sex from strippers???

Kinda sad to think about the poor undercover officers who had to receive lap dances by these, errr ummm, fine ladies.

Meanwhile, the rest of the task force - the guys with more seniority - are going back, "we need more money to develop a good case we can win against the lap dances, prostitution, etc." More seniority = you get the better clubs 🙂

Are the girls at strip joints really this ugly

Nope, they only arrest the ugly ones. It's a form of quality control. It's a fact that when the cops "get off" work, the head to the strip clubs. Welcome to Tampa, my home sweet home.

aha the third ones got "two guns up"

Police Officer : "Hey sweet heart could you atleast flip us off with one hand? Your sign keeps falling over."

OMG, don't you all feel safer now that they got these Terrists girls out of the clubs?

What's wrong with you?!?

I happen to love America.

We have much bigger fish to fry than this.

The resources wasted can be much better used where there are much bigger problems.

They were all contained and now what, scattered to the open community, great going.

Ditto,
How many cops did it take to plan, organize, and execute "the operation"?

If they really wanted to clean up Tampa why didn't they open fire and kill them like the Groom and three bachelor party guys in New York or the 92 year old grandmother in Atlanta?

Cops wusses in Tampa?

The "bigger fish to fry" argument doesn't wash. At its extreme, it reduces to the ridiculous proposition of eradicating society of the "worst" evil, and only then addressing the next. All crimes should be punished. Pointing to specific examples of law gone wrong proves nothing-- it doesn't mean the whole system is broken, or that these strippers shouldn't be punished.

No but it's definitely offered at times.
