Is the game stretched since you have it at a non-native resolution or did you change the scaling ratio from fill to aspect? That would allow you to play at 1600x1200 with 2 black bars on the sides if all goes well. You should also check out http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/
to see if there's a way to play FEAR at native 1920x1200.

You don't want to play these games with fuzzy graphics.

You guys do know about the logitech gaming mice, where you can adjust the resolution in game with little tiny buttons by the index finger (above and below the scroll wheel.) The adjustable points are configurable.

I hate those buttons.
I want my MX1000 as a wired solution.

It took me a while to get used to 1920x1200, too, but it was hella fun to acclimate, that's for sure. Astrocase's link should help you out, too.
