I watched the first 8 eps of season 1 on peekvid.

I'm much more into Prison Break and Lost, with PB being a slight favourite for me.

I've seen every season of 24 and this one is borderline hard to watch. It has lost every element of originality and is highly predictable. Normally, I'm glued to the TV watching it and not doing anything else. But last night, I worked on the computer while having it on. I don't even know that I looked up for much more than 25% of the 2 hours it was on. I'm to the point where I wouldn't even be too upset if I missed an episode and not sure if I'll even continue watching this season.

Been a fan since season one. However, this is season is even more of a rehash than any of the others so far....

Prison Break hasn't been the same since they got out and Heroes has turned into a soap opera with nothing going on at all relative to the premise that drew the vast majority of fans to the show. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ to Monday lately.

It does seem to be written to amuse the utterly stupid segment of the population. Nevertheless, I like watching Jack kill and torture in new and fascinating ways.

heh damn you basically said how I feel about 24. i am just not into it as much as I was last year or any years before. last year is actually when i thought it really started going downhill. last night i wasn't that excited about 24, although i will say it did get better than the previous few episodes.

the other person above also mentioned that it has turne into a comedy, which i agree with as well. i find myself laughing at the show a lot more than i used to.

2 examples from last night ...

1. Jack was disarming the nuke - yes, jack cause he can do EVERYTHING - and then in one line, he said "damnit" and "we're running out of time!" while he was on the phone with chloe. Then when he goes out of the room and the nuke is disarmed, everyone was just standing around like it was nothing going on.

2. When they went to the house, and it was so painfully obvious that there was a bomb in there, and when you heard jack yell to everyone to get down, they showed that one second clip of jack jumping out of a window but everyone else was in there and died.

I also find it funny how someone can say that Prison Break is good and 24 isn't. Prison Break is just as far fetched, probably more than 24, and has gotten painfully worse since it's season 1 debut.

Honestly, I haven't seen prison break since Season 1, but at that time the episodes left much more to the imagination than any given episode of 24. There was a lot of speculation, what could happen, what couldn't. While, in both scenarios, you were pretty confident the good guy was going to win, you never really could answer how the hell the main character in PB was going to solve all the different hurdles thrown at him from inside a prison. That captured my attention far longer.

Both PB and BSG have gone downhill, Firefly is dead, and 24 is completely redundant at this stage. That is a big negative across the board.

Season 1 of prison break was great, don't get me wrong. It was very far fetched but was still a great fun show to watch.

Now it's like 100% more far fetched and is just silly. It's completely lost all type of believability and it's almost as funny as 24 is. The acting on Prison Break is ridiculously bad as well, which doesn't help it's believability.

Heroes is a show about people with superpowers, it's not supposed to be "real".

24 and Prison Break aren't about super heroes with super powers ... well except Jack Bauer.

LOL, you think 24 is suppose to be real?

BTW, have you ever seen Sleeper Cell?

What annoys me the most is that it seems CTU is just a big fashion show. I agree that it has been too predictable/boring lately. Way too much drama within CTU in my opinion. Seriously, in season 1 Division had a problem with Jack and Nina because they dated awhile back, now CTU is full of boyfriends and girlfriends.

In all fairness Jack was married when he was dating Nina, which could create a vulnerability to blackmail. Inappropriate behavior by a field agent would also be inherently more problematic than dating among computer analysts, since they are far more susceptible to being abducted and tortured or blackmailed.

Resurrection FTW!

This show sucks. Just started watching season 1, and I cant see why anyone watches this. Its a complete joke of terrible acting, and has barely any action.

Terrible acting is a given but what do you expect. You watch 24 for action not for acting. And to all those people who hate on Star Wars, 24 has far worse acting. Take the "drama" in Season 6 for example.

Uhh Season 1 has suspense building up and in terms of getting a plot that seems decent and involves all angles, Season 1 really did it. I say Season 1 was very good and Season 2 was nice too, but after that it's been downhill.

Yes, I am glad others have seen how stupid this show is.

The ones who haven't realized how stupid it is, are just stupid.

there was this episode where a women cuts the hard drive out of a mac, well, she cuts the ribbon cords. and I'm like... what the hell?

alright, this is so cheezy. first off, she doesn't have gloves on. she's one of the 'bad guys' who is well known. and after chasing the enemies for days on end, you still can't figure out the puzzle, and it doesn't seem like DELTA or the CIA or the FBI is working efficiently with them. I mean, aren't they supposed to be a team, I'm talking to CTU from the show.

it's intense, well, it can be, there are explosions, gun battles 'n stuff, but personally it's not that intense. kind of like, well, lame sometimes, but I know some of it actually makes me think twice about how effective our government is and where the military needs to draw it's lines as far as security protocols.

you're not going to let a fully weapons-armed jet fighter/bomber hit the skies with a terrorist onboard, without immediately getting other military aircraft in the skies within minutes to take it down. 911 is one thing, but when a US military aircraft as a terrorist onboard it's planes, you are not going to just let them fly around for a few hours unless it's planned conspiracy. that would be awful. but then again... you never know.

a TV show, you just can't really compare it to a movie you know, but you gotta admit, of course it's going to draw the attention of curious Americans. good luck boys and girls!

This season has been more annoying than ever to me. I think there's been way too much drama between personnel at CTU and at the White House. It's getting tiring. I think next year I'm just going to wait for the dvds to come out and watch them all in a weekend. It makes the show much more enjoyable because I don't have to sit for a whole week waiting to see what happens next.
