I'm not a fan of this comparison, considering what happened to ex-president Palmer in season 5.

Besides... any TV president would look like a badass with Jack Bauer backing him up 🙂

Puh-lease, we all know President Lindberg from The Fifth Element is the one that paved the way!

"Why the hell's it eating up all the satellites?"

Classic.

Morgan Freeman and others have been playing black presidents for years. Unfortunately, I see them all as actors including Obama, meaning I can't see them truly leading a country.

The Earth was hit by an Asteroid named after Elijah Wood under Freeman's watch. Is that a risk we can take with Obama? 😉

Ok, got another one..

If true, perhaps this also means that Geena Davis' show Command In Chief showed that America was not ready for Hillary as President since it was canceled before it even finished its first season.

Why is this so unbelievable to you armchair pundits? People don't vote based on logic, they vote based on feeling, and a black president on TV week in, week out obviously makes the idea more acceptable to many Americans.

What next, you idiots will say that the religious revival didn't make a creationist nutcase like Huckabee or Ron Paul more palatable?

Wait a second - which authority said having a black president on a tv show actually "made it more acceptable to many Americans"? I'm sure some people had a problem with that too.

The U.S. was nuked under Palmer.

Also, Palmer was shot in the throat by a sniper.

Let's hope things go better under Obama.
