If it only occurs in one game and not even all of the time, then it's safe to assume it's not a hardware issue, but possibly a driver issue.

The newly released 320.49 beta drivers supposedly fix a lot of issues with the 700 series, so I would try that one out if I were you..
 
Since you have two 780's, perhaps you can test out 1 card at a time to see if there is a difference. If it is a hardware issue, it is very unlikely both cards have the same issue.
 
It's probably the drivers. I've had a 780 for a little over a month now, after owning AMD/ATI cards for a few years, and I'm discovering that the whole "Nvidia makes better drivers" narrative is about the biggest load of bullshit to ever exist on the internet.
