Think of it this way, what if he was your kid. What if she was your wife? It's wrong on many levels. Yes, she is pretty hot, but it still doesn't make it right.

She is pretty f***ed in the head to get turned on by a 14 year old in the 1st place. I would have though cheating on her husband would be enough of a thrill. I just hope the poor guy didn't have a kid with her yet. Having to break the news to your kid of why their mother is in jail, or why she isn't around.

One aspect of this case I find interesting is that I think people's reactions to the story (including mine) are filtered through the fact that she is a hot teacher, as opposed to an older, less attractive one.

Viscerally I have a hard time being upset with this woman as a criminal (though I do think she is a terrible wife and teacher), and I think it's because I know that banging the school's hottest teacher is every 14-year-old's dream. I think my feelings about the case would probably be quite different if she looked like Rosie O'Donnell, and not for any principled reason.

Good for you to be honest about your bias and I believe everyone is bias somewhat (myself included). That's why I think everyone should be equal before the eye of the law. The severity of the punishment should be equivalent regardless of attractiveness or gender.

One is statutory rape, the other is forced/illegal rape...under statutory they premise is the child is unaware that they are being seduced. There was harm done usually mentally.

In this case I think there was no harm done, and if anything the harm being done is now with the trial and other bullsh!t a kid who got 'lucky' has to now go through. Was it bad judgement on the older woman's part? possibly....somehow I feel she considered the two boys and knew they would be ok. She didn't become a teacher to bang her students.

I think she should be penalized, but not a stranglehold.

Because of many reasons, One being; You don't see many Girls at the age of 14 Wishing they could have had Sex with there 23 Year old teacher... Especially if it was Unwillingly. But maybe boys at the age of 14 (I know I did) Would have many Fantasies about having Sex with a Hot Older Woman. Secondly... I don't know about the rest of you but at the Age of 14 could have tooken care of myself against a 23 Year Old Woman like that... Unless she had special training or was in Martial Arts or something close to that, If I didn't want her to touch my I probably could have broken her Arm easily. This wasn't a rape, but rather if anything satutory rape...the dude would have probably paid money to hit this piece of hot as$. It's a case of misjudgement and should a willing participant be a consideration as well as having another minor present be an issue.
