Tell us a little of your life so we can understand you hatred of others that have actually seen a woman naked in person without having to go to a stripclub.

You should be able to do better than puny comments like that.

She was in a position of authority as a teacher at the school. That is also a big part of the problem here.

yes i unserstand that, even in a position of authority, having stricter guidlines to follow and having to set a better example she is still human, and her sexual attraction for someone younger does have a conflict of interest in her position but she was "in love", i can see it happening and can understand why she chose the road she took. you can develop feeling of love or attraction for someone at any age, jsut the law says no no to certain senarios because it states a person under a certain age cannot make sexual decisions for themselves, my parents have a 20+ yr age diffence, my father was in his 40s when he married my mom jsut going into her 20s.

After reading most of the comments on this thread, I can honestly say I am perturbed by the lack of moral displayed so openly. An adult having sex with a child == WRONG. I thought that is universally accepted in the US. Judging by the comments, it seems some of you are on the way of condoning it. A crime was committed here and some of you cheer.

It shouldn't matter whether it be an older female to younger male or older male to younger female relations. Maximum penalty should be dealt equally among male and female adults. In reality we know that is not the case. The double standard is apparent not only in the enforcer of our law but also reflected by the young male members of this board.

Our government has decided that 18 is the age of adulthood, even though age of consent vary from state to state. This, I completely agree, is a gray area. Some people mature at different rate. There may be some 14 year olds that can function as adults and some 20somethings that cannot. To develop a law, you can't account for every individual cases. A line has to be drawn. Those who choose to break the law knowing full well ahead of time should accept the penalty.

I have no sympathy for this woman. As an adult she knows better, but chose to indulge in the affair anyway. Not only is the teacher/student relation is violated but more importantly the adult/child relation is violated. The kid is NOT a stud. It is completely normal for boys of his age to fantasize about older women. In his case, a f*cked up older woman made his fantasy come true. It was her decision that brought it to fruition, NOT his. He can fantasize about older women all he wants and she can fantasize about younger boys all she wants, but bringing that fantasy to reality is a big NO NO. A child can persue such a relationship, display interest without penalty because he doesn't know any better. An adult should discourage this (even if against her sexual urges) because it is the right thing to do and upholds the value of our society. Just because someone has these natural sexual urges (that most people can relate to) does in no way legitimize the crime.

If he isn't responsible enough to handle sex on his own, how can he be deemed responsible enough for a penalty?

Also rape is any contact with the genitals that is unwanted, of course some states have revised that...I won't get into it.

However, when all is said and done what damage was done to the boy, to the woman, or to society, even his cousin? I think all were on the same page with this. The problem was a overtalking cousin probably both a little jealous and a little overwhelmed by it all.

Also I would not use gay as a slam here, unless you know the people you are speaking about are gay and your are just stating that....there is nothing wrong with being so and I believe it's currently worth a vacation.
