I'm thinking about buying an ASUS MG24UG but on page 29 of the manual it is states 'P' resolutions.

  1. What is the difference?
  2. Which is better?
  3. Why is there a 0.03Hz difference?

3840x2160P@29.97 Hz
3840x2160@30 Hz

For all 3 questions they are the same and the 0.03 hz makes no difference.

To add to what tg2708 already said, the "p" denotes "pixels," and 2160p means there are 2,160 pixels if you count them vertically. The display also has 3840 pixels horizontally. Think of it as columns and rows of pixels that make up a whole display.
