That's 2003 week 1 yay!!!

hopefully it'll do as well as though other ones...

i'll post my results soon ... gotta figure out how to attack this slk-800 🙂

Wow, to my knowledge you're the first one to get a 2003-made 2100 chip. Let us know, bro!

Hrmm, cant seem to get this b!tch past 2200 Mhz. Does the Epox 8RDA+ automatically lock the PCI and the AGP to what they are supposed to be? Im at 11*200 and if I push it past that windows will not boot. Says it cant find windows/system or whatever. I think my Enermax is crapping out on me though. the +5 is 4.89; +12 is 12.281; -12 is -12.281; and the -5 is - 5.35. The Vdd is 1.568, Vcore is 1.824, Vdimm is 2.608.

AGP/PCI speeds are locked on the 8RDA+ but for peace of mind, you can lock the AGP bus at 66MHz (or whatever!) in the bios. 🙂

It sounds more like a cooling issue. When windows doesn't get past the splash screen that usually means more CPU voltage is needed. But if you're at 1.825 already (you set that in the bios, right?) then maybe try 1.850 and see what happens.

CPU temp is at 36C, so I dont think it is that. I even tried to go higher with 1.9 volts, but it still doesnt boot 🙁

I wouldn't press it too much more on the voltage side. W/out knowing your stepping and mfg date, you may have very well hit the limit for that chip. I think the earlier 2400's maxed out anywhere from 2.1 to 2.2 ghz. Pumping more volts into probably isn't a good idea. At this point I'd try different combos that stress your RAM and lower your multi, like maybe 10.5x203. Keep going with that until you hit a dead-end and see where you're at.

try useing motherboard monitior to monitior your line voltages. may help to determine if its the powersupply etc. i use a 450 watt pcpower and cooling.

Unfortunately I have been screwed by 3 reputable online vendors, trying to get an Epox 8RDA+.

TCWO, Censuspc, and AICMircro. All had good resellerattings. All said the board was in stock when I called. All took money out of my account. None of them have a product to ship. Their reselleratings will be going down.

This has been a 3 week process trying to get this mb.

Out of stock. So is Newegg, which I would have ordered from if they had stock. They have been pushing the instock date back for weeks.

Guess I'm just unlucky. I even tried going to Fry's and they were sold out.

Maybe this is a sign to get a different mb.

Did you Canucks have any luck locating confirmed T-bred B's @1700+ to 2100+ yet? I know Yield and others have been looking for them since release.

No,not much luck yet.I tried calling one place today and no go.Best thing to do maybe is check your local computer stores and see who has them in stock. They might even let you pick one out.I am gonna call another place tomorrow and see.

I have determined after some research that my PSU is causing my limit in o/c-ing...

I have read in multiple places that for the newer xp and p4 systems, the combined wattage of the 3.3V and 5V lines need to be at least 220W.... my antec 300W PSU is only providing 160W to the 3.3V and 5V lines combined!

60W short of what is needed...

I am going to best buy tomorrow to buy an Antec Smart Power 300W Solution Series PSU... it supplies 220W to the 3.3V and 5V lines total 🙂 or should i go with the 350W... 230W total to the 3.3V and 5V lines....

hmmm... i'll decide tomorrow... it's only a difference of 10 dollars...

so far i've hit 2.05 ghz @ 1.7V but i think this baby has a LOT more room 🙂 i'll tes this baby out again after i get my new psu...

If you're considering spending the extra $10, consider getting the Antec TruePower330. It has fully-independent 3.3V + 5V lines totalling 242W, extra-tight load regulation, and is quieter too! 😀
