Sorry to hear that. Is it terminal or some caps just popped out?

I'm not sure. I'll do some testing after the sprint. It's a dual 1080 rig with the new 3700x installed in an ASRock x470 master sli/ac. I get normal booting into linux desktop with only the working 1080. Any other combination with both GPUs and it boots to a blinking curser.

Day one Milkyway.
We find ourselves in third at the moment. Having been in second after the first hour and then a low as fourth, third is good! 🙂 We have put some distance between us and [H] and are hanging tuff with XS. Lack of constant work seems to be the biggest issue on this one.🙁

Thanks for the stats Orange Kid 🙂
Well I see depending on how many gpu's you run on the mother board,
1@x16 or2@ x8 x8 you take a good hit. I have,
2080ti @ X8 RUN TIME 1 min. 47 sec.
1080ti @ x16 RUN TIME 1 min. 37 sec.

*** Intruder Alert ***

It's the GPU, not the # of lanes. Turings hate MilkyWay. All of my 2080's are running slower than my 1080ti's, and are actually about the same speed as my 1070ti's. All of my GPUs are fed with 16 lanes.

Yup, which is why I have only 1080's and R280s running on this sprint. Everything else is getting a break this weekend.

Milkyway final.
A very fine third place for us.😀 Way to go TeAm!
A rest from FB till next week, but a PG Challenge is on tap starting tomorrow. So as our GPU's cool we can warm up our CPU's with some LLR heat.😱

  • Valtteri Bottas +24.928
  • Charles Leclerc +30.117

And the next project is...MOD_PYTHON ERROR. I coulda sworn we'd already had that one. 😛

Oh noooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Switched projects to GPUGrid!!!!!

Dump those MOD_PYTHON ERROR tasks quick.😉

….and another hot humid stormy weekend ahead

Remember, GPU Grid likes its tasks to be returned within 24 hours. If you don't you get less credit.

At least the AMD GPUs get the week off. 😉

There are no tasks for linux. It's been that way for a couple of months or so. The new app that supports turing GPUs is ready for linux but not for windows so they are running the old app for windows users only.

This sprint is totally FUBAR.
NO RTX OR LINUX GPU SUPPORT.
What a waste of time. I have three cards that will work. All slow.
