-Bernie said, "the next supreme court justice will not overturn roe v. wade!". Then in the VERY NEXT breath, "I do not believe in packing the courts." Poor form Bernie.

-Bootedgeedge misplayed a gimme question - 'should undocumented immigrants get universal healthcare?'. He said, "yes because country is healthy when everyone's healthy." No no no, buddy. You took a wrong turn. Correct answer was, "yes because they're human being just like us".

-Biden got rekt by that Gary Busey-channeling dude. It was a good prepared attack, using Biden's own words of 'pass the torch (to next generation)'.

-I like Yang, almost as much as Bernie. But as I suspected, he doesn't' have the pizzazz to get the votes of the masses, grandmas, suburban/rural residentials. UBI is a hardsell in this debate-setting without understanding the threat of automation. Of course crowd laughed at him.

-Kamala Harris killed it. She has that loving passionate mom vibe. She's also the most attractive out of Dem lineup. Her anecdotes are heart-touching, shes' an attractive

-Who is this spooky literally witch-looking lady. It's not an insult- put a witch hat on and Halloween is here. I almost laughed when the title card said, "Author". At least Trump can sell his brand as a 'successful businessman' running the government. Author? Oof.

Pete, Harris and Gillibrand win this. Yang I think spoke twice, totally ignored.

Agreed except for Gillibrand. She might gain some polling points anyway because of other candidates going down, but Buttigieg and Harris were on a totally different plane tonight.

Wouldn't mind if they winnowed the field down from 20 to 10 for the 2nd debate. It'll happen but probably not fast enough.

Her and Swalwell were almost unbearable.

She is the only one that actually said something rational and coherent. Our poor health is caused by our unhealthy environment and not caused by a poor health care system. Attack the root cause of preventable health issues and watch prices and cost drop. I almost forgot about Buttjudge mentioning that people should expect to have opportunities to earn decent wages without spending for college.

Default answer for stupid cucks when they don't have an actual answer when questioned. How pathetic. Keep on cuckin' on.

pro tip: when you say or type out "cuck," the world learns that you are an idiot.

it isn't opinion. It is simply known that you are an idiot at that point. This is your fault, no one else's.

Just saying, bro.

Harris came for Biden’s voters, he was unprepared. If he continues this he’ll eventually start leaking support.

"Pro tip" doesn't win credibility contests either.

Did anyone catch the death stare Booti gave Eric when he kept interrupting to say Pete should fire the chief of police?

It was a moment of pure hatred from a man trained to kill. Lol

Biden got rekt from ALL sides. And the attacks were very good and sincere too.

Pass the torch! LOL. That was Biden's OWN words. Then that guy said it again to Biden's visibly annoyed reaction.

Kamala went all cinematic on Biden.

Harris crushed it.
Booti did well.
Gillibrand did well for her position, but won't stick.

Yang did decent, when he actually got a chance to get in, but flubbed the explanation of his signature UBI. May rise still, but.. he's got to get sharper to keep going.

Biden... Stumbled. Impossibly high expectations, but that's how the slide starts.

IDK what the F my CO peeps area talking about at times.

Bernie is a one track record that's been overplayed

Eric is annoying as hell.

Listening to the wine lady was funny, at least for the fact that the gov of MT lost out to her.

I guess I should have been more clear. Of course I am not talking about asylum seekers crossing the border. They are seeking legal entry into the country.

Ok. Glad to hear that.

These studies can't possibly have been able to quantify all aspects of allowing an illegal immigrant to compete against a US citizen. Having one candidate not paying taxes is a tremendous advantage in any fair competition. This would necessarily depress the wage for the job in the region, only to the benefit of the business owner. Why would we want to promote one organization's benefit by allowing it access to cheap labor? And just because they may not be able to access all services does not mean that communities should have to be disadvantaged by missing potential taxes from a job a citizen could perform.

The point I was rebutting was that undocumented immigrants were a net drain on the country. They are not. Their effects on wages is kind of murky. The crackdown on immigrants have caused some farmers to offer better wages and benefits for legal farm hands. They’ve still had trouble filling the spots and crops were lost. So maybe they needed to increase wages higher? Either way regular citizens aren’t filling the spots at least in time to pick crops.

I’d be open to reading more on the subject if you have links.

Certainly you aren't arguing that illegal immigrants don't need health care or education or basic utilities or snow plows or police or fire fighters just because they are temporary workers? Those are mostly community goods.

No that wasn’t my position. I’d like to see comprehensive immigration reform and let these people come out of the shadows

I'm sorry I can't quote you correctly. I can't figure out how the multiquote system is supposed to work.

No problem. I end up manually typing the quote tags to make it work.

I’m watching the debate from last night and it’s pretty boring thus far. Transsexuals seem to be the current buzzword. Not an issue that’s going to win the general but whatever. Most seem to be dodging questions which is expected. I like Elizabeth Warren. I dislike Booker and De Blasio, neither of those came across as someone that I’d want to vote for. I like Gabbard but she won’t be the nominee.

Interesting position coming from a guy who enjoys this admin crippling the EPA so corps can profit on “making the environment unhealthy “.

Don't bother. Everyone has forgot about that debate after tonight's.

Honestly, dump the wine lady, and bring Warren over, and you can cut that entire lineup and not miss anything going forward.

Nice, that’ll be something interesting to watch tomorrow. Was it just Biden doing bad or what happened tonight?

Just felt like the real contenders (minus a few) rather than a warm-up undercard match.

Way more at stake and overall different level of energy.

Interesting. Warren to me is the top of the pack. I thought the Native American thing would be too big of a weight to get past but I think she can do it. She’ll have a very uncomfortable exchange or two but if she manages it right she’ll be fine. I think she’s the most intelligent of the bunch.
