I wonder what Latavius Murray thinks about this move.

Murray was never going to be the featured back in Minni. He or his agent should have known that. I'm not sure what to think of Cook, but Murray is a pretty mediocre runner. Maybe he becomes the new Asiata, trotted out on some third downs to block, or to carry the ball twice a game in short yardage situations.

that would be a funny story, but no. he had been essentially fired long before and had no say in the draft process.

Stupid, robbed, what's the diff? Either way it amounts to the same thing. The 9ers got 3 draft picks for nothing. 🙂

i guess the difference is, it will take a few years to learn what those lost pics do for the teams that drafted them away from the bears, vs how trading up for Turbisky works. Right now, can't say they got robbed. But they did make a dumb move in trading away 3 or more years of young, talented, top first round pics to build a stout defensive front or O-Line. yeah, they need a QB, but they aren't necessarily incapable of filling that this year, plus potential trades for veterans.

think about the skins trading away 4 years of top draft pics for RG3. lol! everyone was ocnvinced they got robbed--but they really didn't. none of that worked out all that well for St Louis and, as big a bust as RG3 was, he was a major $$$$ generator for that club for at least 2 years. So, horribly stupid move because they sacrificed a youthful squad (one of their biggest problems this year), for the brief show. they even got Morris and Cousins in that same draft, much later, no? lol, what a stupid move. 😀
