With the 25th pick, Browns call mulligan for Pryor with DB Peppers, UM

Dirty birds trade to the 26th.

And with the 26th pick, LB McKinley, UCLA

I'm shocked Dalvin Cook slipped to the 2nd round. Fournette and him is a good battle. But McCaffrey imo is the weaker of the 3 backs. If Green Bay knows what is good for them, they draft this guy. Their offense would be sick with a back of his talents behind Rodgers.

I think a few teams look at McCaffrey and see Wes Welker or Julian Edelman. Cook is a steal in round two though.

I don't really follow college football so I don't really know who the good prospects coming out are, but it seems the consensus is the Redskins got a steal with Allen at #17.

Yeah Allen is a great pick for them. Other than what the 49ers did and the Browns haul of picks I think the Redskins had the best day.

My team's (The Bills) trade wasn't too bad, but nothing like what the 49ers did...

LOL yeah, the 49ers got 3 picks to move back one spot so the Bears could pick someone the 49ers weren't going to pick anyways.

yup. Allen is the real deal and a position the skins desperately need. I think the biggest miss is Cook falling into the 2nd round. wtf...

and Bears with Trubisky? lol wtf? what a joke. Well, I haven't been paying attention to the combines or all of the news coming out between the seasons, but I can't imagine how this guy ranks in anyone's mind above Watson. The last half of the season, Watson just got better and better with each game. Patience, maturity, all that. Is he somehow not projected to be a good NFL QB?

lol--Trubisky, from joke of a football program :p

Looks like the Bears fell in love with him for some reason. I knew that he was rated as the top QB prospect skills wise, and I know it's smart to draft a starting QB since you can pay them very little through their rookie contract. But if I were a Bears fan I'd be super depressed. The trade was flat out stupid and I'd probably have wanted Watson anyway.

yeah, as usual I understand maybe 1/30th of what Lupi is saying, but it beats 5 useless hours of nonsense non-entertainment on TV.

Some is general pop culture stuff, others more in the weeds sports need related.

Yup, the Bears got robbed. :)
No they didn't, they just made a really stupid move. Also heard today they plan on starting Glennon. So they wasted 3 picks to draft a project. That makes them even stupider than I thought.

Stupid, robbed, what's the diff? Either way it amounts to the same thing. The 9ers got 3 draft picks for nothing. :)

I've heard league insiders 'speculating' that another team wanted Trubisky. I.e., the 49ners were the beneficiary of a bidding war.

And Chicago may have won because, at only one spot back, the 49ers could make the trade confident that they were going to get who they wanted. If there was another team bidding, and they were too far back in the 1st round, the 49ers would have had to make more trades to move back up or risk their guy was already gone.

I don't think it's speculation, especially considering teams traded up to draft the other 2 QB's taken.
