I think they're trying to make up for the terrible officiating of last game. Buy they aren't. KD gets hit on the head last game, he throws a tantrum. Love gets a flagrant. KD hits James on the head during a dunk, no call.

I still do no believe that the Cavs can win 4 in a row. More specifically, 4 against KD. He's been far and away the best player for the Warriors. Either way, I'd like close games. Cavs have a way of letting the 3rd get away from them.

The refs are really bias on these ejection techs... If the guy in a player's face gets a T, why doesn't the other guy? Oh, because he just got one for a completely separate offense? That's bullshit. But, I guess we can't let the bangwagon "greatest team" train get derailed with two huge choke jobs in a row in the finals.

Cleveland looked like they gave up after losing that big lead. Warriors broke them, IMO. That sucks, I wanted this to go to game 7.

LeBron literally had around a twenty second something rest. He has to be tired. Without him the Cavs are nothing.

Well that makes up for last year's collapse. I felt like I cursed them last year by posting too early so I held up this year till they won :)

Well, that was exciting.

Not.

Was that the most boring NBA playoffs in the history of the league?

They had to win after last year. If they didn't they would have been the biggest joke in the NBA again.

Am I the only one who things big changes to NBA rules are needed and most of these change are not to promote more offense?

Another interesting idea I heard on the radio this morning is to make dunks worth 3 points.
I think the issue is what is determined a dunk vs a layup. I guess you could just make all points in the restricted area worth 3 points but personally I'd just get rid of the 3 point shot entirely.

That is pretty easy to determine with minimal discretion.

I kinda like the idea of rewarding getting to the rim with 3 points. I don't think it needs to be just dunks though, it should be anything close to the rim. That way you reward teams for either long range accuracy, or finesse and/or strength in getting the ball down low.

It's such a radical change that it'll never happen though.

We have the technology to just make the 3 point line digital. After first 3 pt make, the line moves back 6 inches. Make another 3, it goes back another 6 inches. Rise and repeat until team misses then 3 pt line resets back to normal.

Watching teams hoist 30+ 3 pointers per game is boring.

Not to mention it would be following NK's rules.
NORTH KOREA'S BASKETBALL SCORING RULES

- Slam dunks are worth three points (up from two)

- Field goals in the final three minutes of the game are worth eight points (up from two)

- Three-pointers are worth four if the ball doesn't touch the rim

- A point is deducted for missed free throws

I don't find draining 3 pointers boring at all, some of them are pretty spectacular.

dunks and layups are already worth more than jumpshots because they are much more likely to go in, they are their own reward
