Well since I don't live in one of 8 Markets ABC is allowing streaming, I'm having to watch it remotely. Pretty stupid but if I spoil something I apologize. :-X

chris rock and rickie gervais did this same sort of thing recently. but yeah--ellen and NPH were the Billy Crystal/Woopie Goldberg type of non-offensive wholsomeness that the Academy prefers

Holy crap, I completely forgot about Billy Crystal... and he was last year or the year before. That's how memorable that was.

Whoopi Goldberg, I remember her Elizabeth gown and make-up, down from the ceiling thing. Anne Hathaway and James Franco wasn't that bad, Anne was actually trying.

P.S. That Mark Rylance win came out of nowhere...

There must be a bit of a delay going on where I'm at, you actually posted that before I saw Chris say it.

Documentaries are always one of those odd categories I suppose.

are you on some satellite feed from Bangladesh or something? That would have to be a ~8 minute delay from what I'm seeing.

I think I just did stupidly shed a tear there a minute ago.

They really are miking the no Blacks nominated for an Oscars thing, to the max, but it seems more of a wink and nod thing to me.

As in it was ridiculous to begin with.

Because Asians never cry racism. They are busy getting good paying jobs to worry about that silly stuff and ask for handouts.

Maybe its because Asians have their own nation and culture and were not raped and hung for hundreds of years and force to build a nation for free. Dont act like the two are even remotely the same.

By the way, was it or me or was that Bond song near the beginning really pitchy, boomy, and just not great...

I was never a Lady Gaga fan in the past myself, but she has evolved over time, like Leonardo did acting wise.

She's more talented than many pop stars out there.

I thought she was crazy in 2009, I liked her music in 2011 (guess it grew on me) and now I think she's by far the best singer around with her versatility and a beautiful voice.
