Ugh... I don't see myself liking onyone that Denver is going to end up with. Gotta have faith in Elway though, he hasn't made many bad personnel decisions yet.

Who's left that fits their play style?

Brandon Weeden is actually better than people give him credit for and I think he is still out there.

Kellen Moore is still to young/not ready. His limited play I think shows that.

RG3 I think has a different style. If the team could build on his skills and not have him try and carry the team it might work but risky.

Ryan Fitzpatrick may be a good fit. He won't carry the team but the Bronocs did win even with Mannings INTs issues. I think he is about the only one that seems he could be a good fit maybe.

Well that's the thing, I don't think we really know what Kubiak's desired play style is yet. They forced Manning into playing behind center more than he'd like last year, and you can tell they (Manning and Kubiak) were at odds with how to run the offense at times. So I really don't know, but I'm pretty sure they're looking for somebody who can work well under center to give the running game a little more edge.

What the hell Lions? You beat into submission one of the all time great running backs, and now you do the same with one of the all time great wideouts. WTF?

Wish I could change the poll to ask a more relevant question: Does Megatron belong in the NFL Hall of Fame?

lol, Sam Bradford

Now cue a massively cherry-picked number salad from Sp33demon which shows absolutely nothing that he claims it shows.

😀
Do you really think that Philly would have signed him for 2 years if they thought he sucked? Hell, they just gave pink slips to Demarco Murray, Alonso and Maxwell. They could have easily went with the sancheez since they're rebuilding. No, because if philly receivers didn't have the most drops in the league then Bradford is a top 5 QB on par with Brady and Cousins.

Megatron is hall worthy. He was the peyton manning of WRs for his era. Nobody was ever in his league except Moss in his prime.

Architects Reportedly Struggling to Fit Manning’s Forehead on Mt. Rushmore of QBs

Aaron Rodgers will ultimately be there and bump off Elway.

Brady wouldn't make the cut if God told you how much cheating the Pats have done over the years.

After what I saw last year, Rodgers may never get to another SB

I like him though so I hope I'm wrong, but he and the rest of GB needs to shape the fuck up

That has vastly more to do with his supporting cast than Arodge.

Their GM & Coach need to move on.

I don't think that many drops exist. Here were Bradford's 2015 stats via NFL.com:

Overall QB: 18th
Passing yards: 18th
Passing Attempts: 12th
Completion percentage: 24th
Average yards per completion: 36th
Average passing yards per game: 15th
TD passes: 23rd
INT: 7th
# of passes 20+ yards: 20th
Season average QB Rating: 38th

So with above average levels of attempts, he was still below average (mostly well below) in pretty much every statistical category except for INT where you are correct he is knocking on the door of being in the NFL top 5. And now that PFM has retired he definitely has the wind at his back to break into that elite category of INT throwers.

Kellen Moore has a noodle arm, unless he can fix that he will never be an nfl starter

When did it becoming a trend to give mediocre QBs so much money?

since free agency began

Guess someone was more butthurt over being shelved from getting a SB win than Elway thought he'd be.

Picking up Forte for Ivory seems a good swap, had a very good run last time they picked up a former Bears RB.

QB situation all around the league seems to be hitting desperate mode, could see another year where several names get bumped up to first round picks for reach picks again.

But when you factor in drops, all of those stats increase. What is so hard to understand: that if receivers are dropping balls they should be catching, your stats are going to suck. That is why advanced analytics exist.

I blame Flacco. He started the arms race in middle of the road QB contracts getting retarded amounts of money.

This is more comparable to Flynn, imo, who played something like 2 games and showed remarkable skill in a very solid system and was then awarded with a unicorn-like contract on a desperate team. Flacco at least had seasons of experience and performance, as well as an extremely impressive playoff run against serious competition to get that contract.

Sure, Flacco isn't the greatest, but he has fundamental tools on top of brains. The cost of the contract was absurd, but his value was certainly better than what he was making at the time.

At least he's ten times the value of some douchecanoe like Bradford.

You're an interesting character, Sp33d. I'm concerned, though, that many of the realities that you have constructed for yourself are going to come crashing down this year. :\

Stay strong, bruthah.

True. Matt Flynn coming off that week 17 6TD effort certainly overboosted his value. I still say that the Flacco contract was absurd and set the bar for others after it.

I don't even know why Elway is there, now. Should be Unitas or someone from that era. Hell, even Bradshaw. 😀

Agreed. Aaron is too damn good for the Packers to be underperforming so consistently--seems like a half-season thing for them, as well, year after year. This is usually a problem with coaching.

That's business as usual here in Detroit.

We will see the REAL Matt Stafford from here on out, and perfect timing too...he's a year away from a contract extension. Perhaps after this year will we know whether or not he's really worth it.

So that clears that up.

The reason they depressed the crap out of Megatron (enough to go into retirement) is to find out if Stafford is worth a $100 million contract. So remind us again who Stafford will throw to after he gets that big contract? 😵

Imagine if Gronk and Megatron were on the same team. It'd be sick...

Not a Lions fan, or a Detroit fan, but loved Calvin Johnson. The Lions gave him no help and he got the living crap beat out of him. He'd play hurt and never seemed to complain. I'm sad that we don't get to see him anymore.
