Thread for all things pro football until the life begins again next September: free agency, the draft, and pre-season. Plus bonus pole just for the fun of it.

Eagles re-signed QB Sam Bradford to a two-year, $36 million contract.

Another $4 million is available through incentives. The deal includes a whopping $26 million guaranteed, but we wouldn't be surprised if that number is overshooting the true guarantees a little bit. Bradford's signing coupled with Kirk Cousins being franchise tagged leaves Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brock Osweiler as this year's only semi-viable free agent quarterbacks. Bradford was largely the same player he's always been in his first year as an Eagle, lacking for consistency and missing time with injury. He posted a 7.0 YPA to go along with a 19:14 TD:INT ratio across 14 starts. Going on 29, we're not expecting the "next step" from the Oklahoma product in 2016. His deal is a reflection of how thin the quarterback pool is, not Bradford's talent.

Way to double down on mediocrity, Philly. Sheesh. Kelly is gone now yet the foolish money remains.

After watching the combines I came away mega impressed with North Dakota State's Carson Wentz. Granted he hasn't played against the big schools but looked great in in the Senior Bowl and his combine performance on and off the field was pretty damn impressive. The kid has a big arm, good location, moves well, is smart and shows great leadership. My prediction, this kid could be the next Brett Favre.

I did love the last statement from Elway about manning. Pretty much saying he has all the time in the world to decide to retire as long as he does by the 8th cause then we cut him.

No love lost there. Manning did his part to bring the Broncos back from mediocrity.

Where's the option for none in the poll?

Are you able to edit polls once created?

Also, HOU releases Arian Foster and ATL releases Roddy White. Browns C Mack exercised opt-out and is now an FA, the man is gonna get paid and hopefully by a contender - Bengals seem like a great fit.

lol, Sam Bradford

Now cue a massively cherry-picked number salad from Sp33demon which shows absolutely nothing that he claims it shows.

😀

LOL.

According to Pro Jock Stats Bradford had a 3.8 PSR (Pants Shitting Rate) when being pass rushed from the left hand side by defenders wearing white pants. In our analysis that's better than the average Pants Shitting Rate of 4.1 of other QB's with a Native American heritage.

And why the hell is Manning making such drama over this? Just freaking retire already. We all know it, just get it over with.
What did Manning do to create drama? He told the team he's retiring... That's all. Everything else coming out following that announcement is the media.

Yea, agree, drama not found. Smart move found, going forward he would have a hard time explaining why his wife accepted deliveries of HGH 😀

What the hell Lions? You beat into submission one of the all time great running backs, and now you do the same with one of the all time great wideouts. WTF?

That's business as usual here in Detroit.

We will see the REAL Matt Stafford from here on out, and perfect timing too...he's a year away from a contract extension. Perhaps after this year will we know whether or not he's really worth it.

My first thought as well.

Of the three the only one to do anything significant in the NFL is Kaepernick so I'll go that way for the poll, but really none of them is more then a backup in my opinion.

honestly, kaepernick never did anything significant. he helmed a team for like 5 games that was already coasting it's way into the playoffs, and then the superbowl. RG3 had a fantastic rookie year, winning offensive ROY...obviously downhill into oblivion since then due to injury and attitude, but I think he has a legit shot to make a comeback if he's managed to mature over these last two seasons.

kaepernick never really was that good, and RG3 has real tools. though I think you are right about all of them playing backup here on out.

Stafford will be fine...
