You'd think west virginia would be able to use some of this home field advantage, but they're getting schooled tonight.

Well my team isn't SEC champs thanks to them losing to SC (with a skeleton crew) and LSU choking against FL. Can't wait to see Bama roll FL in Atl. Bama vs Auburn should be a good game.

Pulling for Penn St, just to fuck Ohio St. Then if Ohio St beats Michigan, will make even more chaos.

It used to be a biggie if you didn't win the Pac-10 and go to the Rose Bowl. That's how bad things are for USC these days, just beating UCLA is a good season.

Eh not as bad as Texas, UMiami, Oregon, Michigan State, and other historically powerhouse programs.

1. Alabama (11-0)
2. Ohio State (10-1)
3. Michigan (10-1)
4. Clemson (10-1)
5. Washington (10-1)
6. Wisconsin (9-2)
7. Penn State (9-2)
8. Oklahoma (9-2)
9. Colorado (9-2)
10. Oklahoma State (9-2)
11. Louisville (9-2)
12. USC (8-3)
13. Auburn (8-3)
14. Florida State (8-3)
15. Florida (8-2)
16. Nebraska (9-2)
17. Tennessee (8-3)
18. West Virginia (8-2)
19. Boise State (10-1)
20. Houston (9-2)
21. Western Michigan (11-0)
22. Utah (8-3)
23. Washington State (8-3)
24. Stanford (8-3)
25. Navy (8-2)

Rumors in Baton Rouge is LSU is pushing to get Fisher of Florida State hard. The price for his service as HC is over $6 million per year plus other benefits since FL does not have income tax.

I'd be surprised if Jimbo left. He'll probably try leverage that for a pay bump at FSU.

It's hard to argue with that top four at the moment. The question is, what will happen to Michigan / Ohio State? I hate rankings because since Ohio State is #2 and Michigan is #3, we should *expect* Michigan to lose. If they do, should they really drop? There's got to be a better way...

Could be or could it be Herman of Houston or anyone else. Fisher's agent (Jimmy Sexton) is jacking up the price for the service of his client and I do not blame him one bit. Gotta strike it hard while the hand is still hot.

If Ohio loses, they should plummet. A Michigan lost I could see them still hanging out around the 5 spot waiting for a chance to get back in.

While watching the LSU game, ESPN just put up a scroll that Houston coach about to become the LSU coach.

I really hope Tom Herman doesn't go to LSU. They'd be getting a helluva coach, but I don't want an SEC team getting a coach that made OSU so amazing. OSU has been missing him dearly. Meyer is an amazing coach, but Herman was one of the best Offensive Coordinators in the game. Time has proven that filling Herman's shoes has been nearly an impossible task.

I had a strong suspicion that Herman would only serve as Houston's head coach for two years, maybe three at most, before another program scooped him up. At first, I figured he'd have a couple years, building up Houston, but damn, a few weeks into this season, he demonstrated his skills and then some. I expected Houston to become a big player in a few years, but to see them perform so well in his second season, before Herman had any impact on recruiting? Shit, just imagine what he could do once he had a team that he recruited. I mean they did awesome last season, no doubt, but they took on some big wins this season.

Pretty ugly start to final regular season week. Not only are underdogs covering most games, they're out right winning them.

Well really just 3 out of 5 games tonight. Western Michigan unfortunately beat University of Toledo (I like the Rockets, my hometown MAC school 🙂 ), and WMU was certainly favored. And Washington won, favored there too. Houston has been getting sloppy, Iowa is proving to be tougher than they've let on, but I haven't a clue about Boise. I haven't been bothered to follow them or Air Force at all, no clue if that was really much of a surprise or not.

Tomorrow is where everything comes to a head. Holy shit I'm both stoked and nervous for the UM @ OSU game. Go Buckeyes! Very much rooting for MSU @ PSU. Tough to play away at Happy Valley, but MSU has some fight left in them. And hell, maybe they even hope they can do their part to put the right B10 team into the CFP. 😀 But really, they just want to save some face at this point. South Carolina @ Clemson is obviously a big game, even if the Gamecocks haven't been impressive this season. It'd be hilarious if Auburn was the one team who could disrupt Bama's regular season, but I'm not holding my breath there. lol And FSU v FLA ought to be a good game either way, but FSU clenched the bid to the SEC championship game against Bama and that ought to be a good game too.

On the games in the pool picks, they were 4-1 early and ended up 6-3 with huskies and directional michigan helping to make it less lopsided.

Bama would still go to the playoffs if they won the SEC championship.

Btw, FSU isnt in the SEC, thats FL playing Bama for the title.

Im hoping Michigan and Penn St both win. Fuck everything all up, people will be crying so bad. Worse than when Hillary lost. Refs already missed a PI call that should have been against Ohio St on 3rd down, tackled the guy, no call.
