2016 cts-v

I miss the single large grill on the regular CTS. I like it better than the split grill on the V.

Aesthetics aside, it's got all the right measurables.

now that it's officially an M5/etc competitor, none of its rivals have a manual option, correct?

I think this gen M5 was offered with a manual, but only in the NA market. As much as I enjoy a manual, I don't feel like it really matches what these cars have become...that and autos have come a long way in the last decade.

I think it's a downgrade aesthetically from the more angular prior models. That said, performance numbers look great of course.

I really, really like this model. I might have to start looking at the CTS-V again!

Whether people want to admit it or not, automatics have become superior in terms of both performance and efficiency. The only thing you lose is the intangible "feel of the car" people clamor about.

I don't care if they are better in every other way, I still want to shift manually. Its not like I'm ever going to miss the extra performance an automatic would provide with a 600HP car.

If its an automatic just give me a corolla.

I'm really liking it in black. Still not a huge fan of Cadilac's art & science motif, but this is one of the best iterations. A bit over styled...but dear god the mechanicals look to be phenomenal.

I like it... I think it looks even better than the last one (which I liked too). Performance is going to be great, and I don't even care that it doesn't come in stick (can't believe I just said that). Maybe in a few years if/when I have some kiddos...
