I wonder if the qq manual people require every car they own to be manual. If I was buying a high performance luxury car I'd probably go with the auto, just because the whole platform is about high tech max performance etc. It would be nice to pair something like that with a small manual sports car. In my marginally practical but not quite attainable fantasy garage I'd probably do an auto M3 (non-existant wagon) and a manual Cayman.
 
I used to be a diehard manual guy. Then turbos with tons of torque and really impressive autos came along. My need for a manual has diminished greatly. I'd still want it in a 911, corvette, 2-Series, M3, etc. but for a touring type car, I'd probably buy an automatic. CTS-V, M5, RS7, Panamera, Jaguar, Maserati, etc. would all be just fine with a good auto for me.
 
Seems the last one was neck and neck for the most part. That said, the M5 was much much much nicer (and better looking). $15k-20k better? I guess that's up to you.

Yes bought a 2015 WRX because it was one of the few fun car that still was available with a manual in my price range that was not German. Tried a bunch of automatics but it was just not the same. Besides if I really need an automatic I can drive my GF's car.

Wheels in the front AND in the back? C'mon! And what's up with both of them having windshields? GM can't come up with anything original. They have resorted to copying the obviously much better made Japanese and German vehicles. Those talentless hacks! Next we'll see them putting seats in these pieces of American garbage.

I'm going to be shocked if Nissan doesn't take legal action to stop sales. I bet GM stole Nissan's design documents in order to make this blatant knock off.
 
It took me a while, but I finally spotted the difference. One of them is a four door, the other has only two. I'm glad you pointed out they weren't the same car.

Plus the near guarantee of significantly higher rate and cost of repairs and obscene aftermarket performance prices!
 
Now that you mention it, those scoundrels at GM have been ripping off Nissan for some time.
