Terminator: Genesis" will visit 1984, 1991 and the future (rumor).

Schwarzenegger's T-101 will wreak havok in the '80s, going through a phone directory's worth of Sarah Connors; fast-forward seven years and it's the lithe and lethal liquid metal T-1000 tracking down John Connor's foster parents.
There'll be new backstory too, allowing viewers to see a younger Sarah and learn about her own home life and upbringing.

Another introduction to the Terminator timeline means that John Connor, as leader of the human resistance, will be given cause to revisit the past and stop Skynet from achieving total victory.

Officially confirmed to appear alongside Arnold S in "Terminator: Genesis" are Emilia Clarke (Daenerys in "Game of Thrones") as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke (Dan in "Zero Dark Thirty") as John Connor, and Jai Courtney (Eric in "Divergent") as John's lieutenant.

I will be there, haven't missed any since the first one in 1984.

unless the Terminator is being sent on a mission back in time to infiltrate a Senior Center, I'm not sure how I can see Arnold revising his original role.

This sounds awful already. But if a Emilia Clarke reenacts the sex scene from the 1984 film it could be worth a watch.

Terminator 1- Awesome in it's day. It isn't on my first to watch because of the cheesy 80's vibe
Terminator 2- Perfect. I grew up on this movie...I remember when Judgement day (August 97) passed and I was relieved. lol
Terminator 3- I enjoyed it. It really isn't that bad and I don't think people should bitch about it as much as they do.
Terminator (4) Salvation- Godawful. Absolutely terrible and corny as hell. Model hot pilot (lol) gets shot down and falls in love with a infiltrator Terminator that doesn't know he is one? Riiiight. CGI Arnold did give me a laugh though.

We'll see what #5 does. I hope it's at least on par with 3.

This sounds like a terrific movie! - said nobody ever.

They should just stop already, but I suppose people should stop going to see them for that to happen.

I'll watch. At the end of the SCC, they started having a lot of interesting tidbits relating to the franchise. A shame they cancelled it when they did.

Ice Cube wants to take over the role just so he can say, "I'll be black"

 Isn't he a little old to be playing this role?

Unless his new catch phrase is, "I'll be fat!" I don't see him pulling this off.

No he will be playing a earlier prototype that looks older due to the materials used were not as advanced.

that's weird. I wonder if things are awkward on the Game of Thrones set, being that Lena Heady played Sarah Conner in the rather awesome TV series....

I hope there's a fight, and I hope someone films it.

Why would it be awkward at all? "Oh, you're doing a reboot of a movie that a TV show I was in was based around. I am going to fight you!"

from my understanding of how Game of Thrones is filmed, the two actresses may have never even met outside of promo events.

all the Daenerys scenes are filmed in the Mediterranean, whereas Westeros is filmed out in Northern/Eastern Europe I believe (and the Wall stuff is all in bumblefuck Northern Ireland)

I think I heard they filmed the stuff past the Wall in Iceland.

And will ride on a powerchair equipped with tank tracks.

I am pessimistic after seeing Terminator Stagnation. But it could be just Ahhnold taking a shit for 2 hours and I'll still pay to watch this in theaters.

Hey! I saw the Last Stand as well!

I read somewhere that Salvation was supposed to have John Conner die, but Bale said he'd have backed out if that happened and they had to rewrite some of it.

So "I'll be back" will now be "Ow my back!"

I must be in the minority who enjoyed Salvation more than Rise of the Machines, but then I expected way more out of that one then I did Salvation.
