Lena Headey would totally destroy Emilia Clarke in a fight. Totally.

Oh, and Emilia Clarke can't act for shit. I see this turning into a Alicia Silverstone Batgirl disaster. Just choosing an actress who is a hot item because of a single role then having her screw up a movie for lack of acting skills.

Um, Alicia Silverstone was the least of Batman & Robin's problems. That movie was awful. A retarded luchador Bane? George Clooney as Batman?

Terminator 1- Awesome in it's day. It isn't on my first to watch because of the cheesy 80's vibe
Terminator 2- Perfect. I grew up on this movie...I remember when Judgement day (August 97) passed and I was relieved. lol
Terminator 3- I enjoyed it. It really isn't that bad and I don't think people should bitch about it as much as they do.
Terminator (4) Salvation- Godawful. Absolutely terrible and corny as hell. Model hot pilot (lol) gets shot down and falls in love with a infiltrator Terminator that doesn't know he is one? Riiiight. CGI Arnold did give me a laugh though.

We'll see what #5 does. I hope it's at least on par with 3.

3 was total crap. Acting was crap. Special effects was crap. I actually liked 4, but it's been panned. (Albeit, not panned as bad as 3)

I have a feeling this is going to be very meh, unfortunately. I'll likely see it, anyway, as I'm a good movie going drone, but I don't have high hopes.

George Clooney wasn't that bad. Silverstone was certainly the bigger problem.

Curious that you didn't mention Mr Freeze, the Governator in that list of tragedies. :hmm:

but hey, one thing everyone can agree with: that movie was horrible.

"Terminator 4" made T3 look like Dr Zhivago.

what was bad about the effects in T3? that truck sequence was rather stellar.

"What killed the dinosaurs? The Ice Age!" With lines like that, how can you call Mr. Freeze an abomination?

You beat John Conner with this Terminator post. Now, he will have to go back in time and make it right in ATOT and terminate you. So you will miss the next movie for sure.

A++. would read again.

Too bad that our present will be wiped out, when John Conner get's the bad guy, and I won't be able to remember this post.

All of the female's morphing or special FX scenes were subpar at best. The truck scene was actually done, as they rigged up a truck from what I read and actually drove it. The action wasn't a problem, it was just the lack of story and crappy acting.

I watched part of it on TV a few months ago and couldn't take more than about 10 minutes. I think for me it really lacks the gritty darkness/realism and impending doom that T2 had. It felt more like a made for TV movie than an actual movie. T4 at least got the gritty part down.

I'm not sure how I can see Arnold revising his original role.

His role could be of a real person. Perhaps some scientist who invented the time machine or the guy they extract dns from to cover up the T's with flesh.

We seem to have a consensus here, and I agree with it. This is probably going to be bad, but I'll probably still see it at some point after it hits Netflix.

The biggest bullshit is that the actors who played all the parts from the previous terminators are still around. But instead of using them and preserving at least a tiny bit of continuity, they're just going to milk the franchise name and run it into the ground.

T4 wasn't a horrible movie. Not good, but not horrible. Kind of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. T3 was Jar-Jar Binks Mesa gonna shootsa myself bad.

So many bad movies. So many bad reboots. The new Godzilla, frankly, sucked. Pacific Rim sucked. Cloverfield sucked. Battle LA was bad. Battleship was a joke. Divergent was 'ok' at best, but not rewatchable. Transformers is horrible. The Star Trek movies were actually watchable. Promethius was ass. Pandorum was bad. Marvel Avengers was ok. First Captain America sucked. Spiderman is overdone and dead. Ahhhhhhh.

In fact the best Sci-Fi I've seen recently was Upside Down. Watchmen was decent.

It makes me cry. It's all aimed at the teeny-bopper crowd, and is just horribly done.

Where are my good Sci-Fi Films!!!!!!
