What a tight series!

I like the idea of a modern-day dynasty (impressively remarkable if you think about the players Hawks have had to shed over the recent years due to the cap).
And yes, 3 cups in 6 years is a dynasty in this cap era league.

And yes, i am well aware they may not win it.
Still more hockey to be played.

We're not going out without a fight.

Watch out if we break out the bath salts in the next one.

J/K...

Modern day dynasty. Don't tell me they aren't, as it's incredible what they've managed to do in this cap era.

I really need to pick based on gut.
It was between STL or CHI coming out of the West for me when i initially was making my playoff picks.
Stupidly decided STL would somehow get it together this year...

Awesome game, was at a bar downtown for this one and it was crazy, plus some random girl bought me 3 beers lol. TB played great but I felt like they kind of gave up this game, still a good series overall.

It just blows me away that they have both Kane and Toews. And hell might as well throw Sharp and Hossa in there. Any 3 of those guys would instantly become the Preds first line.

Yeah, TB looked flat this game. Not really a very exciting end but it's been a good series up till this one.

Now it's the worst part of the year... only baseball is on 🙁

Great series. TB is going to be a force to reckon with next year. Keeping pretty much the entire team together. Poor Blackhawks are going to have to get creative.

One of the things I notice about TB which is true of a lot of young teams is they seem to come out of the gate at 110% which is pretty impressive. The downside is that if you go too hard, too fast you might lose your edge as the game goes on to a team that starts slower to save some energy. Watching this series I think the Hawks pace themselves well. The first period of most of these games looked almost concerning for the Hawks as TB seemed to be so much faster. By the middle of the game though the Hawks cranked up the speed, and often outskated TB... methinks because they saved themselves for prime time.

If TB can control themselves a little more they'll be even more impressive. Even young guys can't go that fast for an entire game.

Sharp probably gone next year as they need to clear up some cap space, but they'll be fine.

I don't know, I thought they had many instances of good sustained pressure. Crawford had a couple crazy saves otherwise it could have gone OT. Of course I thought Bishop played great too, those goals were not the weak variety at all.

TB is going to be scary good the next few years as they get more experience.

The Final was already played. It was between the Ducks and the Hawks. Tampa was no where near winning this series.
