Hahahahahahaha. Pretty much the only thing i can say about the Oilers winning the draft. :awe::awe::awe:

The sickening thing is that this ensures the inept management this team has will never be removed, and we long-suffering fans are sick of it. McDavid won't fix that 🙁

On playoffs topic, my pools look like they're potentially in big trouble.
Both Sens and Jets down 2-0

Jets franchise still has not won a play-off game and they keep blowing leads in the third period. Looks like some coaching mistakes - too much sitting back instead of keep attacking.

Go Wings!

They're getting back Abdelkader and they're playing at home, if they don't show me something tonight I just don't know.

Yeah, they're the only team I picked to get swept in my NHL bracket.

Thank you NHL for favoring the east coast and putting two central time zone teams with a 20:43 puck drop.
Not like my alarm will be going off in 4 hours or anything. Assholes.

that happened a bit with maurice and the hurricanes - when they did get a lead, e'd let them relax. defense didnt get insane to hold the score, offense didnt push to make the gap bigger, the team just coasted the latter part of the third and they failed.

Abdelkader is my boy. I love watching him play. Wings played very well, Mrazek especially. Got lucky a few times - the 3-0 score is deceptive as to how much closer this game should have been - but still an earned Wings victory!

After getting pummeled in games 1 & 2, I didn't think the Wings could win this series.

After the way they played last night, they can totally win it. They really applied a lot of pressure and never let Tampa get any space.

Holy cow what an awesome game I got to go to! Had a blast.

Never been to a Wings game that was so loud, and the pre-show they put on for a playoff game is pretty sweet.

I think the Joe is fun during regular season games. But playoff games are insane.

Having been to dozens of games, I never went to a playoff game until a game vs Dallas in the '08 cup run and was blown away by how hype the atmosphere was.

They've been shutting down stamkos pretty well imo, especially last night. That's a big key obviously.

Was Stamkos injured late in the game?

Mickey Redmond was pointing out that when they pulled the goalie and had 6 skaters, Stamkos wasn't on the ice.

I'm so tired today and all that to still see the Preds lose. This has been such a tight series and unfortunately for the Preds it's now 3-1 Blackhawks and the outlook is bleak at best. Kane comes back for the Hawks. Fisher/Weber go down for the Preds. Not a good chain of events for the team in gold. Oh well.

I haven't heard anything about him being injured. He was on the ice immediately before they pulled the goalie so that's probably why he wasn't out there. Stamkos' line was out, then they changed for Johnson's line and pulled the goalie, they didn't make another line change before Detroit scored.
