I don't think the problem is so much finding a coach to mold a team around Tebow's talents. I think the problem is finding a coach that can mold Tebow's talents around a team... like, maybe being a running back, or a linebacker, or something of that sort. But he's got this silly notion that he's a quarterback stuck in his head.

Fullback. The game needs to bring that position back to relevance, imo.

Randy Gregory lost weight again as he visits teams. Rumor out there that he showed up high to his espn workout though nobody wants to print it. He slurred his speech a few times during the interview. Its being whispered around the league though. Was totally right about him being overrated.

Overrated is right, IMO. Being from Nebraska, I've watched a handful of their games objectively, and he just doesn't strike me as a guy who took over a game like Suh did. The fact that this kid had pot in his system during the combine, and other reports keep coming out, he could fall a good ways in the draft.

I have no problems if someone uses the stuff, but when you're staring at the possibility of a 4 year, 20 million dollar contract, you drink water until that day comes. Shit, I'd drink water and become a vegetarian if I had to.

Eagles got a cupcake schedule...very little travel and not very high opponent strength.

Found a printable one, will do a c&p later on a desktop.

NFC East seems to be the poster child division this week, they have a prime time game 13 of the 17 weeks.

Jets-bills final week, that could be a blood bath game.

Somewhat questionable choices for turkey day.

Patriots at broncos.

Seachicks at pack.

Considering the NFC East has 4 of the like top 6 markets, why wouldn't they be prime time most of the time?

Judge approves concussion settlement. Capped at max 5 mil per player with a scale of how serious each individuals condition is. No cap on max that can be payed for all players only real difference from earlier agreement.

Hardy suspended for first 10 games.

Saw this. First offense with no legal actions? As much as I hate to say it, it seems like Hardy might win an appeal. I mean, Josh Brent killed someone and he only got a 10 game suspension.

Fullback. The game needs to bring that position back to relevance, imo.
The only thing that's killed the fullback position is the reluctance to run the I formations. These days, teams will pull a guard and/or end to block with the fullbacks and use a smaller halfback to grind 5+ yards if the blockers can make him a lane...but the running game just isn't a priority for the big offense teams.

Brady and company only do well because they have the short passes down to a science. High percentage throws with WRs and TEs that can get YAC are winning the battle against the running game. (that's not counting TEs on seam routes that get huge gains against cover2)

The I just doesn't work. Unless you have the FB coming out of the back field, play action is inferior to a two TE set. And, most teams don't power run as a main offense style either.

Wow, Pats have some epic matchups this year: @DAL, @IND, @DEN could all be game of the year. SEA@DAL and SEA@GB are way up there also. Week 17 BAL@CIN could be a classic if the Bungles can get their shit together this year, although that's doubtful while they have Dalton as a boat anchor around their necks. If they had made the trade for Foles rather than STL they could easily in discussions for SB favorite this year.

Saw an article that chargers/raiders submitted another stadium proposal to the nfl, so you can put it in the confirmed category that some team(s) will be announced as going their by next season only unknown is which.

Yeah, plus it just makes more sense to carry an extra lineman or TE for depth instead of dedicate a roster spot to a player you just won't use that much. Teams have moved to that "heavy" formation where they run 3 "TE"s with the 3rd really being an extra lineman (maybe even sometimes two?).

I think the Chiefs ran a formation like that but still somehow used a FB some. I'd have to see if I could find out what it was exactly, but I recall them using a FB on one of the "heavy" formations. But then they also used Dontari Poe as a fullback other times (I seem to recall them using both their actual FB and Poe near the goal line a couple of times as well).

Well the draft is tomorrow :)

I'm hoping the Redskins trade back but still select Brandon Scherff. Maybe pick up Shane Ray in round 2? That's probably a stretch but I wouldn't mind another lineman like Ereck Flowers to sure up that right side.
