2015 Jeep renegade

It doesn't look terrible (except for that awful color... eww). Looks better than a Soul or Juke IMO. Price is going to kill it though. If it costs $2k+ more than a Soul, I don't see it doing exceptionally well here.

Also, probably FWD but an AWD option wouldn't be terrible.

Yea, that blue is terrible... It doesn't look bad in red though. I like the looks of it. I was just telling my wife I wanted someone in the Soul's size but that was AWD and a little higher... Bam! Jeep!

Needless to say, I am beginning to like it.

That's the thing. I looked at a Forester. I looked at a CRV. Both were $8,000 more than the Soul. The Forester was spartan and the CRV just felt like a cushier Soul. I went with the Soul, haha.

its cool, thought I don't know if I would ever own one.

i would rather have a truck i can haul things in, or at least a wagon.

I figured Fiat would ruin some Chryslers, but I didn't think it would be the Jeeps. Horrid Cherokee, and horrid Renegade. Can't wait to see Fiat's Wrangler and Grand Cherokee mods.

i don't get the trend of the cute utes. is there anything good about them? seriously, they seem too small to have useful cargo space, yet are shaped as a vehicle that should. they have a taller stance (higher CoG) than small sedans - or it appears that way to me at least - and yet are similarly sized.

I like the redline of the tach, nice Jeep touch.

Looks sorta like a sportier xB (the newer melted ones) to me, with an uglier front end. Keeping the 7 bar grill I understand, but those headlights are awful. Aside from those I think it looks all right.

Don't know what the price will be (assuming it will be around 17-18k base range), but I am guessing it will sell well. Once I would have considered buying it, seems like a useful vehicle, but probably to small for our needs now.

They ride like cars and make good dog haulers? Good choice for someone who doesn't want a minivan?

All the utility of a wagon/small van without the stigma. Follows the SUV trend without the actual SUV costs or off road capabilities. Higher vantage point/taller vehicle makes some drivers feel good.

I've had a couple cherokees and can understand some of the appeal. That being said this thing is no Cherokee.
