I've been doubting them since the ND game. I would still like to see them win but I still doubt them. I'd just like to shut up the Carolina fans (my wife being one). For many years, until the 5 in a row, their mantra was, "Wait til next year." This year, it's been, "Wait til you play XYZ." Of course, I'm hearing it about Oklahoma now. My response, "We may lose but you guys have been losers for a long time."

My wife complained that we beat up on high school teams. My son said that it was better than being beaten by high school teams like Carolina was. :biggrin:

If I were going to put $$ on it, I'd have to go with Alabama.
 
Clemson is a tough one. I think they are the most talented team in the playoff. But their defense since the FSU game has been very suspect. I honestly think OU can beat them, and may do it convincingly. Bama is a team I feel is the least diverse on offense in the playoff. They have a battering ram at RB. But I am waiting for somebody to actually shut down their run game and force them to throw to win. I have my doubts as to whether Bama can do it. But I dont think MSU is the team that can get it done. They should slow Henry down. But MSU offense wont move the ball much against Bamas defense imo. So can OU? I have my doubts they can control the LOS and stop Henry. I do think Clemson has a defensive line that can get it done. But I will be shocked if they beat OU.


Should be an entertaining playoff. But I think this year a good case can be made for why the playoff needs to be expanded to 8 teams. I think Stanford, tOSU,ND, and Iowa can play with any of these 4.

Wow, so much discussion on the playoffs. I can tell this addition sparked so much additional interest in college football!

Anyway, Clemson surprisingly just smoked Oklahoma.

Bama just scored to go up 7-0 over MSU late in the 1st half. Kind of surprised this game has been so slow but maybe this will finally open it up a bit.

Sparty getting curbstomped now.

Clemson managed to not go foot in mouth against Big Game Bob, but think it may be more difficult next time around.
 
And looking to turn it into a rout while still in the first quarter.

Well this game is over. At least ND and florida kept theirs somewhat competitive.

OKST played it tough and had a few good chances killed by flags through the first, but the SEC train is coming a rollin in the second.
