Brooklyn 99 and Last Man on Earth renewed.

Really? Those have to be two of the worst shows currently on TV.
(yes, I know B99 has lots of fans here...but I don't understand why)

AND...LMoE should die...he's no longer the "last man on earth" with the addition of so many other people...

Finally another soul who can see crap for what it is. Two of the most overrated pieces of garbage on TV.

CBS just renewed all non-new not previously cancelled shows except criminal minds and CSI. By God's grace CSI will be put out to pasture. CM may be let go to go with the cheaper CM spinoff that just started airing.

I've watched CM since the first episode. Might not be the best but I enjoy it. If they're letting it go it better not just disappear without some type of finale. Been running way too long for that.

B99 is pretty funny, in my opinion anyway. The humor is a little on the idiosyncratic side in that it's mostly based on the characters' personalities rather than situational or physical humor although of course there is also some of that. So I think you need to find the individual characters likeable or at least interesting to enjoy the show.

Not every episode is a winner though. Some I've found hilarious while others only get the occasional grin or chuckle. But overall, I think they use the personalities they've created to good effect. Each is basically a stereotype of one sort or other but they're not the common stereotypes you're used to seeing. And pretty much every sitcom I can think is based on stereotypes. It's mainly a matter of how imaginative and interesting the characters are that they create.

As a general rule, I hate sitcoms. There are only a handful that I watch. Big Bang Theory, which honestly, is starting to get pretty old. Last Man Standing which tends to have a lot of good one liners from Tim Allen. And Brooklyn 99, which took me a while to get into.

edit: Oh, and Last Man on Earth would be a decent show if they could manage to get rid of the main character, whoever the fuck that moron is.

I agree somewhat, but I don't know what sort of finale they could have. It is not really a continuing drama or anything. The writing on Criminal Minds has really gone downhill in the last few years, I think it might be time to either wrap it up or get a new writing team.

Moonbeam City lunar eclipsed by Comedy Central.
That was really awful. I've tried so hard to like some of the cartoons like the stuff on Animation Domination and I just can't. The only one I can sort of tolerate is Lucas Bros Moving and even that's hit and miss.

I suspect I'm suffering from low blood levels of THC.

Someone posted that the CW renewed a bunch of stuff a short while back, I only yesterday processed that as Crazy Ex-Girlfriend being renewed. I like it, only saw everything up to the Christmas episode, then my local channel dropped it for shit like The Magicians.

That, apparently, includes Hawaii-Five-O -- it'd been off a few weeks and I forgot.

Checked out the show's IMDB page, completely forgot that Steve was played by an Australian.

Remember first thing watching him was playing as a vampire.

I liked the first season of Bosch better than this one. The love interest with the woman cop was a nice distraction from the sleuthing and violence. And they worked it in very nicely. This season was about his being a tough cop almost in the tradition of Dirty Harry. That sort of story has it's attractions but it leaves the main character a little one dimensional. I think they must have realized that and tried to humanize him by bringing his ex-wife and kid into the story in a more significant way but I don't think it really worked.

Of those shows listed I only care about "The Catch" and possibly "The X-Files".

There was a bit at the bottom about what show you'd like to see brought back, which had an option for Person of Interest.

Any bubble shows you want to try and save or get rid of - vote here: http://www.usatoday.com/pages/interactives/sos-2016/

Thanks! I voted.

To clarify, did you really like this season's re-boot of "The X-Files" or are you just a fan in general, hoping for a perhaps better next season? I ask because, so far, the re-boot seemed extremely lame to me. The other show I assume is a reality fishing show that features trolling. :p

The two show I voted to bring back were "The Good Wife" (please!) and "Grinder."

I hope they kill The X-Files... that was atrocious. Keep The Catch just because Mireille Enos is in it.

Ooooooooo, Mireille Enos! Yes, please! I loved her in "The Killing" (where she def dressed down) for what I saw as her "real life level" appeal.

Any word on whether she, too, is a tranny? Inquiring minds want to know. :p

OMG...the ONLY show on that list I watch at all is Castle. Could care less about the rest of them.
