You may not get a second chance to watch Second Chance, Fox putting it out to the Friday night pasture.

It's an interesting take on the idea of a demi-superhero, but I can't decide whether or not I like it.
The regeneration part seems too contrived.
It might be more interesting if he used his "powers" more often, I still don't know.

The guy who plays the son was ok in White Collar but he seems to be typecast now, playing another cop. And his acting hasn't really improved. It was Caffrey and Mozzie who really made the show.

It's watchable...but just. Seems to be typical of Fox programs. Never quite becoming "GOOD" shows, but at best, just ok.

Second Chance is enjoyable enough, they are missing some opportunities storywise.

it is supposed to be a modern take on frankenstein (hence mary character as a Shelly reference), but they arent doing much with the concept of monster, creations going out of control, hubris, or violations of ethics. with the dirty cop/sheriff possibilities they could be making better parallels.

i like the cast but the dialogue isnt really up where it needs to be for something like this.

You, Me and the Apocalypse -- 7/10 -- A new hour long comedy on network tv featuring an"extinction event" comet hurtling towards earth (eta 4 days), Rob Lowe as a cursing, drinking Vatican priest who puts his ciggies out in an unused holy water font, Jenna Fischer as a librarian who goes to prison where she fails to win friends or influence people, and a really, really hot actress, Gaia Scodellaro, as Sister Celine.

Hilarity ensues, I guess. We can only hope. I'ma keep watching and see.

One thing for sure, it already beats the pants off of the tedious and endlessly annoying The Last Man on Earth.

The show is "meh" at best

Agreed. Billions is not bad and fairly well done, but it's just another soap opera pretending to be something more. At least it's a lot better than Tyrant. Again, Billions is not that bad and I'm going to keep watching, but with the cast and network budget it could have been a whole lot more, imho.

Did you love Suits? You'll LOVE Billions.

If you haven't found him by now, Carter will be lost to the winds as season 2 is the last.

The show has been out for awhile but it just aired on nbc.

It has some great parts in it even with the horrible accents.

I'm incredibly sick of networks calling things an "Event." The X-Files is back, that's fine. But it's not an "Event."

Can't we come up with something new? Law and Order first debuted in 1990, it is now more than 25 years old. I think we have fully explored that concept.

There's a dozen better shows worth my time that I have yet to get to. Billions has been cancelled in my lineup.
