Yeah, just say "I was wrong" and move on. I've been wrong about a few QB prospects before, the biggest ones being Jeff George and Michael Vick. Jeff George taught me the importance of attitude and work ethic and Vick is what sealed my conviction that running QBs are doomed in the NFL.
P.S. Hey Bears fans, Cutler is this decade's Jeff George.
Oh was he the one that you were talking about with saying stupid stuff about that (that therefore you not moving on yourself I found annoying)?
I'm not surprised, eits has had that stubbornness on a few topics.

He claimed credit for orchestrating and engineering his own ownage. That makes it legit self ownage and is a strong candidate for this award, complete with a short, easily understood post count pertaining to the ownage which makes the ownage an easy read and isn't tl;dr. Also, great pics are included with the ownage making the ownage self evident.
The subject of this nomination was both owned, and self owned in a single ownage event. This is an amazing achievement and is worthy of the 2014 self ownage award.
Also, upon realizing the gravity of the ownage inflicted, his backpedaling and claims of credit for said ownage makes the ownage just that much worse. A true masterpiece.

Anyway, IIRC, this used to be "ownage of the year" and not "self-ownage of the year." I think what happened some years ago is that incidents of self-ownage, clearly in their own tier of magnificence, dominated the trophy, so I guess, maybe, it was renamed?
I think this should qualify as ownage--yes, I believed it wasn't your soup. (self-ownage would be continued denial from my part, which never happened)
I will leave it up to the voters to determine whether or not my expectation of being owned as soon as I posted that, should qualify for a nomination. Meaning, I wouldn't say it was engineered so much as I fully understood the gravity of my comment, and was more than willing to suffer the consequences.

LOL haha. Do you know how ridiculous we sound? It is a rather serious subject though. Internet ownage, a curious phenomenon, is both highly desired, and darkly feared.

I'm trying my best to not detract from the greatness of your post/ownage, while at least preserving some modicum of pride by illuminating my own preconceived willingness in this whole affair.
Perhaps it best I just left it as it was...but others had already shined to the notion that there was probably some intent on my part. :\

Yeah. It's assumed that all these new Blu-Ray movies he would sell in FS/FT were almost surely stolen. The guy was a thief. In some cases, an admitted+unrepentant one.

Well, I'm fine with however you want to see my antics after the fact, but I truly am concerned that the nomination is somewhat tainted. It is a lofty honor, and I would hate to be the one with an * next to my name.
I fully accept all grief, of course.

That thread is an eits trainwreck, and it's continuing to crash car after car.
Final stretch. So far, and while most people probably know that I feel adlep deserves a hefty consideration, to me it is far and away eits. That thread is looking like it might be epic self-ownage (although sadly I'm expecting it'll turn out like RGIII's career thus far, promising but will probably fall short of expectations with occasional dips and blips; largely because I'm guessing eits will abandon it or keep ignoring the calls on his claims of his personal intimate involvement and knowledge of the situation).
