I thought the general rule for the Ownage of the Year nominations/awards was that P&N threads would not count. If we counted P&N threads, McOWNED would win the award every single year. He is a self-ownage machine and too stupid to realize it.

I voted for eits with this in mind.
 
i think Eits wins it. But i gotta say we didn't have much to chose from. this year was light on pwnage threads

I disagree. I think the level of stupidity in these forums has risen to the point where only the ulimate, most incredible, unbelievable ownages get mentioned anymore.

eh, football player comparisons are very subjective. While I didn't read that entire thread, from what I did read, eits just has a different opinion on potential.

McOwned on the other had made a specific prediction and used countless paraphrased articles to support his prediction. However, were he gets owned is that even in the face of evidence that countered and even contradicted his prediction, he still pressed forward and refused to say he was wrong. His prediction was a miserable failure and many posters provided solid evidence to that fact. Oh, and how did he counter those posters? He simply blocked them. Or in other words, he ignored their counter-arguments and refused to debate the merits of his prediction or his support. He should win in a landslide.
 
I know who my vote will be for next year already.

Also, not sure how the "kill one prisoner for every new entering prisoner" thread is not the obvious choice here.

But McOWNED generates a thread worthy of winning the self-ownage award for the year on nearly a weekly basis. Seriously, the moron can't avoid owning himself. It isn't fair to everyone else and their brain-cramped moments to have to compete with him. Let's just give McOWNED the lifetime achievement award and exclude him from the poll, which I thought was the policy to begin with.

In the years I did the thread, P&N was not excluded. However the good ownage threads never really came from there. There were always nominations but never a winner that I can recall.

Last year we even had the Martin/Zimmerman thread in the running.

I actually had him in mind when I nominated Dari's thread, considering he made such an ass of himself that Perk had to ban him from the thread (and then he still tried to come back), but Dari's fairly worthy too.

In the end I still voted Adlep, that has been coming for about three years now.

having a hard time between eits and Texashiker. I mean, eits really put it all out this year, but Texashiker's performance from year to year is hard to deny. TH is my mid-nineties Jeff Gordon.

You just love to hate him, because he's so good at what he does.
