If we're thinking of the same person, everyone has their suspicions about him based on his past obsessions and his avatar choices. Don't know how it can be "known" though.

Dammit, just say who it is already

Voting ends tomorrow morning, but I think we can call it.

Dave M (dmcowen674) ran away with this one. Followed by eits.

so there's still time to win this one if I turn the ownage thread into an unprovoked self-ownage thread, like Alkymest did last year?

:hmm:

I mean no offense by this, but you are up against legends. Legends.

You had your chance. You could have doubled-down on stupid, like your competition, but you had to be allllll humble and normal and sensible.

Hopefully you've learned your lesson. :colbert:

No time to search the thread now, but didn't he also finally admit he was just the chiropractor of a couple of cheerleaders, not the "official" one?

I think I actually Googled and found that he was also not the official cheerleader chiro either, but he might have worked for the clinic that was. I don't know, I gave up on that thread after my last post and seeing eits pulling the same old shit that he's pulled in so many other threads and not wanting anything to do with anymore of his bullshit or the people that give him a pass after once again blatantly lying out his ass and getting exposed.

But his claims singlehandedly was why I think eits took the cake. It's one thing to make an argument so wrong and do so hilariously badly (those are so common on here, and we especially get that recurring from certain members), it's a whole other level when you also claim special insight and qualifications (let alone when a simple Google search can prove them wrong), then try to weasel out of it in such a hilariously pathetic manner. It'd be like if adlep claimed he was one of the scientists that measured Rossi's e-cat, or Dave claiming he was an economist for BP or something.

Your ownage was so weak that, it's only because of the rather weak state of entrants the past few years that it was even included at all.

Sorry, you're going to have to step it up big time if you want to get serious consideration.

Frankly I just don't think you have the mix of ignorance/delusion and personality disorder that it takes to even compete.

But don't lose all hope, I'm sure plenty of people said the same thing about Lance Armstrong and look how he turned out! :awe:

No no no!

His keyboard deleted the correct words, perfectly preserving a grammatically intact bold face lie about being the "official team chiropractor" until someone actually googled it, called him on it, and then we found out the real reason and the real story (which, too, was ultimately redacted).

But that's ok! The keyboard did it! Why is that so hard to understand!?

Sorry, I refuse to recognize Dave McOwned as the winner. As previously stated, he has the lifetime achievement award and P&N was excluded in previous years because it was well known McOwned would win the award every year and therefore, there would be no Self Ownage of the Year Award necessary. In other words, allowing Dave McOwned into the contest is an existential threat to the contest itself!

Congrats eits, you're my winner! :D

yeah, Dave is kinda the default winner in a boring year. I'm surprised so many people voted for him, with the strong performances from eits and TH this year.
