Edit: I can't remember who it was, but I was listening to someone saying how it made a lot of sense for the Browns to draft Watkins with their first pick just in case Gordon got suspended again. Damn.

Wow, if Buffalo would have waited about 4 hours we probably could have snagged Cleveland's 2nd rounder or something for Stevie...

2nd round started rather interesting with several of the early picks including cowboys moving up to the redskins spot, and now we have pats at the tail end selecting a QB.

pats selected Jimmy garoppolo. Guess Ryan manlett will get trade soon.
 
I can only guess that the owner wants rex around for a long time giving him more defensive draftees.

Giving up a 3.15 pick to move up from 2.15 to 2.2 seems a bit expensive, but I like the picks so far from Dallas. I REALLY like the restraint in not picking JF last night. I was beside myself.
 
Niners having a great draft. They are a top notch organization who knows their shit. Bears to me are having a mediocre needs based draft. I really like Kyle Fuller but Ego Ferguson could have been had in the third. So many weapons available during that pick and lots of meaty DTs still on the board. Weird pick for a guy who is gonna need a while to develop.

Bears just drafted Kadeem Carey in the fourth and make up for the second round selection. If he doesnt turn out to be a scumbag he is a great back though I would have grabbed Martavious Bryant and grabbed the RB White in the next round.

So far niners, Viking, Steelers, and GB having great drafts. I would rate the bears mediocre. Heres hoping they pick up David Fales int he sixth if hes available.

I do think he hasnt played much ball but hes really raw and Zimmerman is gonna coach him up though you dont want to be saying that about a pick that high.


Bridgewater I do think is gonna be the steal of the draft. Guy is on a friendly 5 year contract since its first round so they can redshirt him a year or even two. Guy is crazy accurate and you cant teach that. The rest of the issues people had with him was BS. His hands are big enough and I personally believe he got rattled at the Pro Day. Kid had bad nerves and was coerced to throw without his gloves to somehow prove his hands werent small... Guy changed his routine and ended up looking bad. He was also freaked about about the heart irrethmea or however you spell that.

Bears take QB David Fales totally called it months ago! Crazy accurate guy with touch and good wunderlich and quick release second to Carr in the draft release wise.
 
Only disappointed Bears didn't take a safety at first pick, but we definitely haven't done bad overall imo. My excitement level for next season is at 9000.
 
Jets took Boyd, wonder if it was a coach to coach favor or if they really wanted him as their development guy.
