Saw the first half of the Eagle's 1st pre-season game last week. Eagles starters looked out of sync. Hopefully they get their crap together but it was ugly. The whole NFC Least looks ugly.

Found the first Eli & Peyton video to be better. This new one wasn't that good IMHO.

Ugh... Scandrick banned for first 4 games of the season for MDMA. Why can't the Cowboys ever get players who aren't complete fuckwads? Please! Jerry, you're killing me.

Wasn't this a first offense?

"While MDMA alone would be considered a drug of abuse but would not subject Scandrick to suspension as a first-time positive test, the drug sometimes contains amphetamine components, which fall under the league's PED policy and led to Scandrick's punishment."

While, he failed for drug use, the fact that it had amphetamines causes it to be considered a PED.

You're relying on this guy. It's not going to happen.

As much as I hate the Patriots (I live in Philadelphia), I can't hate Tom Brady. The whole "can't get a high five" thing was funny.

NFC Least...someone's gotta win it. Anyone who bets on football, an Eagles Cowboys game should go over any posted total...decent offenses, check...crappy defenses...check. Giants looked OK, not great, the first couple games. Last game they looked lost. Let's see how RG3 looks on Monday.

Random thoughts.

Cincinnati. Dalton looking OK, but until they win a playoff game, I'm not sure that contract was worth it.

Rams. Sam Bradford needs to prove he belongs with the big boys. He's had an OK career so far but it's time to lead the Rams into the playoffs if he wants to be considered an elite QB.

Jets. Geno Smith sucks.

Can we get rivalry games in the schedule? A "rival game" is a team not in your division who you get to play every year. Eagles should play Steelers every year. New Jersey Giants should play the New Jersey Jets every year. Niners should play Raiders every year. And so on.

For the Chiefs? An O-line.

Eh, its not that necessary if you just dump it off to RBs quickly. Haven't several of the recent Super Bowl winners had dogshit lines? Packers, Steelers, Giants most recent, and o-line might've been the worst unit on the Seahawks (granted it wasn't that bad in the Super Bowl).

For me, I'd prefer a defensive coordinator that can make adjustments. Or maybe its wishing for cornerbacks. Maybe both. Defense was what let them down last year.

And hopefully DT can be the player McCluster was supposed to be.

At least it looks like they might have a TE that can stretch the field.

Bob Sutton did make adjustments, the personnel just didn't have the talents to make up for it. Yeah, and CBs is a concern.

They have more than one player that can replace DMC.

Don't know if you watched tonight's preseason game, but man, that O-line was scary.

So... looks like the Kansas City Eagles are shaping up to be a fairly decent team on paper.

Anyone notice how Andy Reid has basically brought in skill position players to put together an identical team to what he had in Philly, position for position? (assuming they weren't already in place)

Haven't really gotten much from the games so far. So many key players on most teams being kept out for various reasons and the ones playing not staying in for long. Week 3 should be interesting to see if they finally try to shift to a more regular season output.

I don't get this, you mean he didn't bring in a striker, or goalie? I thought every NFL roster consists of the same make up...

No. 😕

It's not hard to figure out really. He's been bringing in the same type of position athletes he had in Philly.

You mean NFL teams don't want the best athletes on their roster? That, certainly, is a revelation. It also explains the Jaguars.

Bah, just realized I am going to be stuck in the Eastern time zone for this football season. Stinks. Really, really going to miss those 10:00AM and 1:00PM games on the West Coast.
🙁

KT

West Coast time zone just eliminates any illusion that I will be productive on Sunday. =)

Oh, just woke up and the game is on. Sorry babe, can't do that today!
