Great game. I'm really surprised how well Michigan did this season. They have nothing to be ashamed about.

Like I posted it is the inconsistency that drives me wild. UK throwing elbows and mugging dudes in the paint. Michigan breaths hard on a dude and foul.

Either call the rough stuff fouls or don't.

But don't allow the rough stuff and then call the weak stuff.

You could see it in the play Michigan defenders kept backing off because they were scared to get the ticky tack foul vs UK players continued to throw elbows and shove players around with impunity knowing the foul won't get called.

Considering how we were getting dominated inside, I'll take the last second loss. And to lose to a 3-pointer is just poetic. 2 straight Elite 8 appearances and this year without Mitch McGary...I'd say that's pretty good.

Michigan played a hell of a game. This is one of the best tourneys I can remember.

I agree. Everyone in the final four definitely earned it. The early round cinderellas paved the way for some real excitement. UCONN is the only one that would have never thought had a chance.
 
Kevin Ollie...da man.

Beating a Tom Izzo in an elite 8 is a great way to set oneself up for a huge pay raise. He should be really proud of getting his team into the final 4. They played really good basketball - took some good punches by MSU but recovered each time and struck back. Shocked the hail out of me.

That was an incredible game. I have to hand it to Michigan, they played great. I really thought UK was going to cruise to a double digit win without McGary who destroyed Florida last year.

Yeah, figured. I'm a UConn fan and didn't have them making the Final Four in any of my brackets. That would have been a remarkably foolish pick seeing how they did against Louisville.

Yeah I actually had them losing in the first round. 😀 They have looked better and better with every game though and Napier is amazing. So freaking fast.
