Ohio gas prices higher to start work week
The average price for a gallon of regular gas was $3.47 in Monday's survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That's a dime higher than a week ago.
You cherry picked that article by omitting this part:
And that price is "...still 12 cents lower than this time last month."
It's also 12 cents lower than it was a year ago at this time and it's lower than all but 10 days since February. And the US average is a couple of cents lower than it was a week ago, 17 cents lower than it was a month ago and 13 cents lower than it was a year ago. Your own volatile Indianapolis prices are down 25 cents from a month ago and down 25 cents from the same time last year. Chicago prices are within a couple of cents of their lowest prices since February and are down almost 30 cents from the price at this same time last year.
You're really reaching.
Don't you have a PC to go install SETI@Home on?Awwwww such a good little Oil Thug supporter you are.
What Oil Company stock do you own or have a family member works in or you work for?

I own no oil company stock nor do I or anyone in my family work in the oil industry or for any oil company, but I'm sure that won't deter you from making your erroneous attempted (but failed) insults since you are the only one here who considers "Oil Thug'' or "Oil Thug supporter" to be pejorative labels.
Plants cut their operating rate by the most since June, the Energy Information Administration said.
Just like do every year in preparation to shifting from summer fuel blends to winter fuel blends.
As for your 30 cent jump, wholesale gas prices are holding steady so there absolutely no reason for a jump and looking at the gas prices there are none anywhere close to $4/gal as you claim.

Futures are showing wholesale gas prices will drop once winter blends are being sold in October.

Regular was 2.99 (3.24 for Premium 93) with Sam's card last night, finally back below $3 again.

Got the proverbial 30 cent jump today, now pushing $4 once again.
Still a month out from Labor Day so obviously it will be way over $4, will they push for $5 once again or beyond.
According to gasbuddy, the average price in Indianapolis rose 18 cents on that (8/7-8/8) day and since then has done nothing but steadily drop. It is now a bit below what it was when that was posted. As close as it came to $4 was $3.52. Indianapolis gas is today, on average, the same as it was yesterday and 15 cents less than it was a week ago and 19 cents less than it was a month ago and 17 cents less than it was a year ago. It is also about 10 cents less than the national average. The national average is down 3 cents from a week ago, down 13 cents from a month ago and down 10 cents from a year ago.
But there is still time left until Labor Day so that $4 or $5 gas COULD happen in Indianapolis. Personally I'm not going to bet on that.
and your point of all this Oil Thug supporting would be what?
