2014 Camaro Z28

Doubt anybody will want to buy this for street riding with out A/C in it. Though, it would be fun to run around a track obviously. Rear end looks interesting...

Target acquired...

Hehehe...

I should be done with it and just go twin turbo T67s on a 5.8 stroker and run 25 psi on E85 and just not care again for at least another 10 years. By then V6 Mustangs and Camaros will be up to 1600 HP stock, and Ill have to come up with something else.

??? It has A/C.

Oh I thought I read on car and driver they cut out the A/C system to save weight. My internet is f'ed up right now for some reason, I can try to confirm it later. If it does then great! Seems like an awesome car. Going to look super mean with those 305 tires on it.

Edit: Found it, from C&D

" Besides the A/C delete, other weight-saving measures include thinner rear glass, the use of manual front sport seats, deleting the tire-inflation kit (except where required by law)..."

I'm not the biggest fan of the new Camaro, but I really love what GM is doing.

This car is a monster and it has a standard transmission.

Great job GM

A/C can be added as an option.

That's odd, because in the pics, I can clearly see A/C controls.

Still don't love the look of the car...but man is this thing a monster. Awesome mechanicals...would love to own despite the looks.

Good good...Well, if I ever get 50k somehow, then I would consider.

Will it handle better than a GT500?

It looks like they removed the A/C in order to cut down on weight, but I'd rather them just remove the rear seats. They also removed the speaker system, and left just one basic speaker. Again, I would have rather them remove the rear seats.

I'd say this is more of a competitor to the Boss 302 than the GT500.

No, by then cars will all be electric. :ninja:

No automatic transmission? Boo-urns! :sneaky:

I remember when my Dad got his '93 Z28 when they first came out, it took a while to order a manual because all the dealerships were getting automatics at first.

I tried to buy an S-10 around 2000, but couldn't find a single one with a manual (bought a Ranger instead.)

Good to see GM is changing it's ways, but silly that they are going too far the other way.

Great looking car!

These new Camaro are the ugliest ever produced. Even the late 80's models make these look like ass.

I wouldn't go that far. Not sure what they've done here, butthe car looks more low slung than before, and I have to admit, I kind of like that.

I still hate the interior though. Deal killer. I don't get it.

Interior sucks, nice car.
The next gen can't come soon enough.
