I watch way too much TV so heck yes I watched Longmire. What I found interesting is that IRL (in real life) when the topic of conversation turns to TV I hear about this program from many folks in different stages of life. Old folks, young, autoworker, teacher, cop all seem to enjoy show enough to mention it.

ugh, gambled on "Gang Related" and lost

EXCLUSIVE: Fox’s drama Gang Related will not be coming back as the network has opted not to renew the undercover drama for a second season. Originally slated for a midseason launch, the action series starring Ramon Rodriguez was given a summer berth instead. It got off to a soft start the last week of May, opening with a 0.9 rating in adults 18-49 in Live+Same Day. The series didn’t grow but developed a core following and was pretty consistent, ending its 13-episode run with a 0.7 in Live+SD despite a lead-in (0.4, encore Sleepy Hollow) that was a quarter of the lead-in for the premiere (1.5, Hell’s Kitchen). Gang Related, about the members of Los Angeles Police Department’s Gang Task Force, came from Chris Morgan, Imagine TV and 20th TV. Its diverse cast also included Jay Hernandez, RZA, Sung Kang and Terry O’Quinn. I hear Fox brass considered bringing the series back but deemed it too heavily serialized for the summer, the only slot available on Fox for the next year.

Too bad about "Gang Related". A good, guilty pleasure, suspend reality get away.

"Extant" can come back or not but I wont even turn the TV on for it. Should have known not to watch anything Amblin was involved in. Insult to our intelligence.

Looks like Newsroom on HBO is getting some final shows and then is gone.

It's too bad, I really liked the news side of the show, character drama not so much.

They announced that quite a while ago. Aaron Sorkin has said he's not interested in continuing beyond S3, so rather than drag it out, HBO is just going to end it there.

Watching premiere of Forever... It's good. Hope it has staying power against Blacklist.

Good leads, sort of fun and morbid concept. Looks like it's a procedural like Castle and Unforgettable. Will watch.

The BBT hour seems to be such a ratings hit CBS adjusting the planned schedule. Moms is now on hiatus until TNF on CBS done. BBT will be staying on Monday, no move back to thursday. Until TNF over, following BBT at 8 will be a BBT repeats show. After TNF on CBS ends, Moms starts showing on thursday and the BBT repeat is replaced with new shows of The Millers.

Anyone watching utopia? Have several shows already saved to the drive but waiting to hear reviews first as I expect it to be bad.

Watched the first episode of blackish. I liked fishbourne in CSI after an uneven start, and I've liked everything the other guy has been in (momentary name lapse), but so far this one seems like they're trying too hard without any real results.

So far, I just want Forever to stick around.

Selfie starts tonight. The trailer looked terrible, but it's got John Cho and Karen Gillan, so I will have to at least give it a few shots.

I caught the last minute or so a week or two ago because it was just ending when the DVR started recording New Girl. My take: It was very, very bad. Therefore, it will probably be wildly successful because reality TV.

Just the fact that there's a show called Selfie has me in disbelief. I hate that word. It's almost as bad as "grand finale." And now it's a TV show. Yuck.

Well, the show should be about the self-obsessed selfie-generation and how they have no social skills or real friends. Over the course of the show, the main character should be trying to fix those issues.

We have a winner...?

Found the Selfie premiere pretty good. I think they dubbed/redid the voice for Karen Gillan's dialogue because her American accent is way better than in the original trailer months ago. The actual show ties everything together much better than the trailer too.
