When games like titan quest go on sale I buy and store them to gift out later.

A buddy of mine recently created a steam account. when he created his account I was able to gift him several games, including titan quest, to get him started.

~ EDIT ~

How to survive is up for community vote.

anyone have it?

it gets very poor reviews. i was interested in it until i saw that.

i've been playing it with a friend in local coop (it only has local coop)
the game starts fun but gets super repetitive over time, and it has too many silly quests that are always IN THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ISLAND.
A lot of walking involved, it gets to a point its very tedious

but its not a bad game, its just mediocre. I wouldnt play it alone btw.
You pick up so much stuff that you will find later how to use that your inventory is pretty small. Playing with my friend we divided items so we could carry as much stuff as we could, and we were still needing to chose what to drop at times from all the crap we were picking up

mediocre game. i wouldnt spend more than 2 bucks on it

is Age of EMpires II HD worth it? I loved the game when it was originally released.

For a sale price, getting ALL the campaigns, I'd say it is totally worth it.
Have 30 hours played so far in single, but haven't tried the multiplayer, so I don't know how good that part of the game is.

wish legend of dungeon came in a 4-pack. oh well

did anyone else pick up Forced when it went on sale? and wanna get a game going at some point? add meh on steam if so (in sig) 😛

Yeah the sales have been pretty underwhelming, not price wise, but title wise. I've picked up a couple things, but nowhere near what I usually do, maybe 2 or 3 games.

Still waiting for that Rayman Legends sale...

Anyone played Kerbal Space Program?

Played it back when it was open and I had a blast even though I was horrible and there wasn't much of a tutorial then. I've watched some more gameplay and it seems like they added tons more content since then and a nice tutorial. I just picked this up myself and can't wait to bust it out.

Totally awesome "sandbox spaceship-building simulator" is the most succinct way I can describe it. Build your own spacecraft, launch them out of the earth's atmosphere (or watch it fail hilariously, depending on how poorly you designed it) and if you get good enough you can land on the moon, or on other planets, make space stations, etc, etc. Very cool.

Well my two takes for this sale so far have been blackguard and xcom within and i think both were pretty decent both price wise and title.

I think this sale has been fantastic, bought more games than year past, simply because more indie games got more exposure. Most did not know about lots of these games out.

The Dead Linger is pretty fun. Actually i love it. lol

Also bought more on this sale than the last 3-4, or at least I plan to. Catching up on the retail games I've been wanting to buy more than the indie or early access ones. Still plan to get Dishonored GotY and maybe the Dragonborn DLC.

I already have it, but Ys Chronicles should win this vote. It's really worth it at $3.75 and the other two already sell for less than that.

I got Dishonored GOTY (GMG had it for about $11), Brothers, and Gunpoint. I'll probably end up getting Starbound even if it doesn't go on sale.
