doesn't alabama have more players selected? i know they had 3 players selected within the first 11 picks.

edit: nope, just checked. alabama has 7 and lsu just got 8.

And FSU winds up with 11 players taken. More than any other school and a record for FSU.

Im not sure about Montee Ball over Eddie Lacey but i was super stoked to get a RB. Sooooo needed. Not happy about our third round pick but i think Quintarus is a steal in he fifth. Like 3 of our four picks so far.

Any Wisconsin fans that watched him all year? Looking to get some more takes on Montee.

I watch them quite regularly as my GF is an alum. Montee has great vision, good movement, makes good decisions and has the size to be a punishing runner. Unfortunately, he's not a great pass protector but thats a skill something a majority of college RBs are lacking at and is easily coachable. Doesn't have elite speed and the Wisconsin o-line is always great so you always wonder how much of a factor it plays.

Buffalo drafted arguably the best kicker on the board in the 6th. I'm stoked! *sigh*

It looks like Buffalo covered every position of need in the draft, especially with the high picks too.

Rd1 - QB
Rd2 - WR & LB
Rd3 - WR
Rd4 - FS
Rd5 - DB
RD6 - K (Seriously, did you watch Lindell's leg last season? He's got nothing left.)
Rd7 - TE

Granted starting Manuel this season will probably be a mistake. But still, they did what they needed to do. Gotta give them that.

Rogers is an interesting dude, probably has first round talent, or close. Have to wonder what happens when he gets that first check though.

Here's a quote from one of Buffalo's scouts:

"He’s the most polished of those three Tennessee receivers in my opinion in terms of route running and all that," said Bills scout Tom Roth in reference to Cordarrelle Patterson and Justin Hunter, who Rogers played with at Tennessee before finishing up at Tech. "He reminds me physically of Eric Moulds, that body type. That’s what I thought when I saw him. A big, physical, muscular guy. Explosive. He had a 39-inch vertical. He ran a 4.48 at the Combine. He’s got all the physical stuff."

Basically they said he's a better WR than Patterson or Hunter.

"Rogers has ideal size (6-foot-2, 217 pounds) and speed (4.44 40 time), but comes with significant baggage. He was kicked out of Tennesseee after failing multiple drug tests. He played last season at Tennessee Tech, where he had 78 receptions for 1,207 yards and 11 touchdowns."

If Honeybadger can go in the 3rd, this guy gets a pass as a UDFA from me. :D

Rogers must have some serious issues, probably uncovered by the league's investigators. He most likely has family or close friends dealing drugs.

The Bears took a malcontent, coach-killing weenie in the 7th over The Rick.
